It may seem a bit OT but wich software did you used Autodesk Inventor? Catia? Pro-Engineer? Another one?

Also the second one with dual pump rod is really a solid design. Good luck.

I thought dual pump rods would be better, since there would be a more uniform force across the bolt. Less binding, even though I know the tolerances are tight and it may be negligible.
