Nice removeable plug. Ubershort mag. I doubt it would cut off any weight...probably make it heavier as I think the xvalve reg is lighter than any decent vertical style reg on the market - could be dead wrong though.

Maybe if Coolhand isn't too busy he could give it a whirl.

You can't do this to an xvalve...well you could, but you basically have the same effect as a Classic mag with this mod and with not much better rate of fire. Why would want to keep the reg part? I cut off the threads, so hoever long the threads are to the ANS valve (3/16"-1/4" maybe) and am gong to use epoxy to seal the threads once i feel like sealing good. No o-ring - It seals for crap right now. So the change wil be permanent. I cut the micro body down too. The thing looks like an old 9m parrabellum or Luger. Sweet.

Now all I need is 2

I'd want to keep the reg just to have it. #1 if it didn't work quite as well as I was hoping I could just put the original back on. #2 just to keep it whole incase of reselling down the line. #3 its just the way I am, I keep original boxes and packaging for about everything I buy.

And the deal with the recharge, I don't see myself ever shooting over 15 really so as long it can keep up with some bursts of 15ish from time to time it would be fine for me.
