Not sure if that would work or not, check with Big Evil - he had spearheaded a TAG board specifically for the existing Emag hardware that hasn't moved along too well either. But if you are looking at changing the hardware on the emag and using a Predator, I think there were other 'issues' with that idea. Just giving you a heads up. -

Yes, I plan to change the whole hardware. Doing so I would have use a lower voltage source.
For the sake of space and weight reduction I plan to place the smaller rechargeable battery inside the Emag battery case were the standard battery went. I would just have to run the wire all the way through the frame and out the hole were the battery screw connecter used to be and surround it with foam. That is the way I plan to solve that problem only 3 more problems to go and you will see something that will blow your mind.

No 9v is going to be able to run the emag noid, you know that right? If you want to run a 9v, you're going to have to:
Get a Hyperframe/Spyder style noid
Mill the frame so the new noid fits up in front of the sear arm
Get a regular RTP searComment

Yes I plan to use a different noid, but I plan to make changes to the sear, but if that fails I will go plan B and drill a tiny pin hole through the hyperframe/spyder noid. What makes my idea harder is the fact that I wanna still maintain the E/M switch of the Emag. I will post pic drawings of my idea.Originally posted by warbeak2099No 9v is going to be able to run the emag noid, you know that right? If you want to run a 9v, you're going to have to:

I like the Xmod software and I just bought the programmer and will install it on one of my guns this weekend. That is one of the things that is keeping my hopes high on competiting tournament level, using a mag.Originally posted by rudzif speed is what you want, xmod software is the name..speeds of 24 and 26 bps have been reached depending on tank otput..i love my emodded emag..big evil is alos on the xmod beta testeing squad, along with alot of other members..just a heads up..for free software and a hundred dollar programer..cant be beat..i think big evils also doing flashes for a small fee, so u dont have to buy a programmer..
What I am trying to do here is take a different route and try to get a couple things that I might not get with the Xmod. One is the ability to use eyes, and the other is to reduce weight on the gun by replacing the heavy battery and be able to mill away some of the insides of the frame.Comment
