wouldn't it be easier just make a new seer that is mounted on the far end as opposed to the middle
then as long as the you have it so it is resting on or against the eblade noid there should be plenty of force to engage the fire pin and the noid can be shimmed to provide plenty of travel

or am i missing something and that would not work

I have been wanting to customize a rail and seer so it would work with my eblade
( i just have way to many other projects on right now to start that one )

      Yes.

It's already been done on similar frames.

You don't need to touch the rail or sear. Simply modify the frame so the pancake noid is sitting in front of the sear OR modify the frame so that the SMC 5-way is operating a ram that trips the sear. The only reason you'd touch the sear is to take off the clevis and trigger rod.

What benefit would there be to use an eblade as opposed to a much cheaper spyder frame?

WarBeak~believe me, the sear has to be modified slightly because of how things line up in the frame. The Frame also has to be modified to some degree.

WJR~the benifit is looks, quality, and ease of getting new and improved boards. If it wasn't for custom boards and companies like scenariodreams making better boards for spyder style frames then spyder boards suck.

I really don't think that will work. If you take a look at the frames current configuration you will see that there isn't room to relocate the Eblade components.

I don't think you guys are considering the Eblade design. It's easy to say "just change the parts, move this or that", but in reality it just isn't that simple.

You have to take into consideration frames physical characteristics and operating style before you can even consider ideas for the a suitable way to convert the frame. (Not to mention the Mag it's self)

                None (IMO).

                But it would be cool.

I am in the midst of making a E1 frame to fit on a am/mm rail platform. I have hit a stump as I have beeen using a Dremel tool for most of the shaping needing to be done and I "kapooted" the Dremel tool. Hopefully this weekend I can use my Dad's repetoire of tools to continue my work. The only other thing I need to do is pick up a rail so I can make sure things line up on final assembly. So if anyone has one for sale cheap let me know .

Hopefuuly when I get this done I will be able to put up alot of pictures and show how it is done. I have to say that most of my ideas came from Luke, so kudos go to him. He gets a banana for being a really cool guy and a good tinkerer.

It also has a mag rail...

                        Your right, body and rail.

And as TK said "that dosen't make it a Mag".

I would say the valve system defines the Mag.
