Where can I find someone who will do a small milling job?

I just want to install a QEV on a ram, but the ram sleeve will require milling to do this. It is a very small job and will probably take no more than 10 minutes for someone who knows what they are doing. Does anyone have any names of individuals who would do this for a very modest fee?

    thanks

Find a machine shop. They could do it just as well if not better then anyone who would do it for you here.

See where the air line is coming out, that is where the source of air that opperates the ram comes from (it is a one way/spring return ram). I want to install a QEV just for a slightly faster cycling time.

You could always buy a new ram.

You will have to be more specific. What do you need me to do?

I can always buy a new ram but making a ram sleeve for it will be a task.

Bottom line, I would like this ram to cycle faster. Right now the mechanical limit if the ram is about 14 CPS, I would like to increase that.

Ok, that's fine. If you can't explain what machining you need done I won't be able to help you...

Then I guess I will not be using your services. I made it clear what I want to be done and I'm no expert so I will leave the rest to the person who does the job.

                      LOL, LOL.

You have not explained what machining service you want.

                      OK, how?

but the ram sleeve will require milling to do this
Need a shop drawing with dimensions.

See where the air line is coming out, that is where the source of air that opperates the ram comes from (it is a one way/spring return ram). I want to install a QEV just for a slightly faster cycling time.
How do you want the QEV installed??

You still haven't explained what you want made, the material you want to use, how you wanted it executed, etc., etc., etc.

Then I guess I will not be using your services.
OK, what ever. Good luck in your quest.

If a QEV could just be screwed on, then I would just spend $10 bucks and buy one and screw it on there and I'm good to go, unfortunatley I cannot screw it on because there is not enough room for a QEV to rotate as it screws on unless it is the size of a pencile eraser. All I need is a machinest to do something to the ram, I don't know what, but something which will create a little more space or something which will ultimatley allow me to attach a QEV. I don't think this is rocket science, maybe I am wrong.

it's not rocket science, but be specific. Luke is one of the best custom paintball guys out there, and believe me if you state what needs to be done he can do it. Don't act like people are ignorant just because they don't understand what you want done. Learn to give directions, and be more respectful.

I am being as specific as I can be granted that I do not know what is necessary to complete the job I want done. I am not acting as if anybody is ignorant, I made it clear that I am no expert here so I am leaving a lot up to the machinest who will do the job. I do not think that I am being disrespectful either and if anyone felt that I was to them then I appologise. If I had specific directions for what I needed to be done then I would just send this to some no name machine shop that would knock it out in 5 minutes for virtually nothing, however that dosen't apply here. The most detail I can give is that I would like a QEV installed in that ram (in the picture above). How it is installed, I don't know, but that is why I came here as opposed to giving it to some machine shop where some guy who knows nothign about paintball would install it.

So, you just want somebody to mill a little off of the ram sleve so the QEV will fit?
