If that is all that it will take then yes, but there might be more than that necessary, I do not know.

from the looks of the fuzzy picture, there is a port on the ram, that is almost right against the ram sleeve. you wqant to put a QEV here but can't because of this right?

have you thought about trying a smart parts 360 QEV? they are made in a banjo bolt style that alows you to leave it faced the direction you want while tightening it to the cylinder.

I don't know if it will fit, but it maybe your only option even if it needs some milled off the sleeve there. because from the looks of it, chances are, you would need to mill quite a bit off the sleeve to spin even a clippard QEV on there

as it is, I'd say post a clearer picture if you can, perhaps a digital camera using macro mode, that way we can all have a better look.

I'd say you can send it to me, but I couldn't give you an answer as to whether it can be done without a better look at it.

electrician- I didn't know these SP QEVs were like that, I definatley have to give them a try. Are they the only company that makes QEVs like that?

          for now, yes.

it may still need milling though, from the picture it looks pretty tight. is this a homemade piece? something you put together?
what size threads is the port that the QEV will be going on?

I actually just realized that the QEV will not work, the only part exposed from the ram sleeve is a barb which cannot be screwed off.
