    Interested in EP mag solenoids?

I've got an account with a SMC distributor, and I'm about to place an order for a few SY113A-SG-PM3 solenoids for myself (these )

I thought I might leave the chance open to anyone if they want to get in on the order.

I could also get any other SMC solenoid most likely, but I can't promise on the availability.

The SY113A will take 2 weeks to be shipped over from Japan.

The price is $30 for the SY113A, including the cost of mailing.

If anyone is interested in other solenoids, I can call them tomorrow on the price.

I'll collect the $30 in the 2 weeks once I get them in (please don't tell me you want one now and then don't pay, that wouldn't be very nice). Or you can pay me now if you want.

Please post here or PM me if you're interested and or have any questions.

I personally want to try the MAC small 3 way solenoids. From other people's experiences, I hear the SMC's aren't super reliable in EP conversions. To see the Mac 3 way, it is the same 3 way as the lucky ion solenoids. not sure of the part number though. Plus, Mac noids may be a little easier to come by rather than waiting for something to ship from Japan.

Link or part number? I'll definitely take that under consideration.

2 weeks isn't really that bad IMO. It takes about that long to get solenoids from airsoldier anyways.

Those SMCs arent that great, I killed 2 of them. Look at the MAC on the ASP site, or the Humphries if you want something even more robust. Only downside is that they are larger, and will probably require the much more expensive 90* m3 barbs.

Hmm... that sucks. I'll look into those mac valves then. Anyone have specific 3-way model numbers? I'm having trouble with the Mac website for some reason.

Does anyone have the dimensions of that mac noid? Would it fit in a milled rt rail? Or does anyone know of a 4way that would fit inside an rt rail- laying flat inside with 90 degre barbs?
Just a project thought yous all might have an idea?

This 4 way mac solenoid has the following info (provided by nicad):

                Pressure rating: Vac to 120psi.
You see port #2 and #4 on the top, with #4 being closest to the noid. These are the output ports.
On the bottom are ports #3 (vent), #1 (input), and #5 (vent), #5 being closest to the noid.
At rest, #2 is connected to #1, and #4 to #5.
Activated, #2 goes to #3, and #4 goes to #1.

                Dimensions: 1.77 x 0.637 x 0.325
All 5 ports are threaded M3.
                Flying leads are ~18" long.

The MAC 3way solenoid I was talking about. It's wired to an ION board in the pic.

No it's not and no I don't - sorry. The rainmaker is 10-32 threaded barbs... this noid is M3 threaded. Alot of the MAC noids are similar. The particular one pictured is a MAC 43A-AAA-RDSA-1BA (1.8W)

This is the rainmaker solenoid: MAC 44B-AAAA-GDSA-1BA
