AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Somewhere I read that mags have the lowest operating pressure. It was on this site and I did a search, but I cannot find it. Is this true? If so, just throw down some info for me. Thanks.

"Men think they think upon great politcal questions, and they do; but they think with their party, not independently; they read its literature, but not that of the other side; they arrive at convictions, but they are drawn from a partial view of the matter in hand and are of no particular value. They swarm with their party, they feel with their party, they are happy in their party's approval; and where the party leads they will follow, whether for right and honor, or through blood and dirt and a mush of mutilated morals."

Thats what I thought. I swear I remember reading something about it having 60 psi operating pressure. Anyone else?

Back in "the day" Mag were the "Original" Low Pressure fast recharge built in regulated Marker. Some of that is still the case. Outside of operating pressures used to move all the thingamagiggies other markers have they put about the same air pressure to the ball as any other Marker. So yes they are Low pressure where it counts the most. A common miss conception is what the regulator operates at is the ball applied pressure. That is not precisly what is put to the ball. I think someone said it was 180 or 190 psi on most if not ALL markers? Someone step in and correct me if thats not right.
However the rest...Built in Regulator and Fastest recharge. Mag is still the King baby!!!! Still the KING!!!!!

hmmm...
I would consider stock guns like Spyders and Piranhas High pressure guns. The run at 700+ psi operating pressure. The Mag on the other hand, runs at about 350-450 psi operating. I would consider this medium pressure. Mine runs at about ~360-370. Not sure exactly how accurate my mini gauge really is. But its somewhere in the ballpark.
Yes! You are correct. But that is the "Operating pressure" of the Valves and such that you guys seem so stuck on. Who cares so much about that realy. I care more about force on the ball and recharge time? Mag is the King there with its recharge advantage. The rest is a draw realy. Low Pressure is an often popular misconception of some magical advantages. It depends on what you get for it. Lower does not mean better.

I was hoping someone more technical would confirm it was in the 180 to 190 psi range for almost all PB guns but no luck so far. However the answer to your question of the Mag being the lowest "Operating Pressure" is no but they are not the highest either. I was trying to point out its not realy that important what the operating pressure is if it sacrifices recharge time to a point to get that low...And in most cases it does...but I might have failed!

Thanks guys! Thats EXACTLY what I was looking for!
