Which Mask Do You Prefer and Why?

    Hey:

I want to know which mask you guys think is the 'it' as of right now.

    Factor in:

    Comfort
    Size
    Protection
    Lens Replacement
    Price

    Vote and inform.

    Thanks again,

I choose the Profiler. Its a older mask, but it serves me well. Fast to change lenses, good visibility, fits my face well. Nice comfort and you can pick them up for pretty cheap.

Still hanging on to my Profilers.

Have tryed the others (atually still have some) and they either don't fit me just right , provide the visability I prefer or the ventilation. (one of those usually)

There really aren't many 'bad' masks , it's like sneakers , you just have to try 'em on and see what feels good to you.

E-Vents or profilers. I bought some grills and sold them right away. I hate the lens system it used (not quite as good as the profiler).

          none of the choices offered.

My 2nd favorite mask is my Invision. Light, good FOV and comfy...but replacing lenses is kind of a pain.

My ALLTIME favorite mask is my JT Whippersnapper (C) 1985. My soft ears are still intact and the rivets arent' even rusted. Sadly, the strap had to be replaced years ago and I don't have the original.

It's lighter than all other masks I've worn, with the thermal lense it NEVER fogs, has a splendid FOV, is MORE comfy than the Invision and lense replacement is a dream come true. Remove 2 screws (Elitel lenses) and roll off the lense pane.

Add +3 for OS hawtness ...now all I need is a Celtic strap that isn't going to make me feel like I had to prostitute myself to pay for it ...

          That's it.

Of those listed I like the vents avatar the best in all categories but my altime favorite is the JT Proflex other than the soft ears. That is also why I like the Vents avatar over the eVents is the soft ears. They just bother me because of the number of side-of-head shots that I take.

                Profiler

I only use a Profiler. Specs fit in it better, and go in and out of that one easier than any other.

Profiler: Old ones are cheap, they last forever, the lenses don't hamper peripheral vision, if you don't put the straps through the back two rubber slits you get more bounces than you can count and you can put them on with one hand, Not to mention communication is fairly clear in them and they cover where you don't want to get hit. Plus the foam is sooooft.

Events are too expensive right now and are Waaayy too tight on the face
Grillz are good but again expensive and I think a little too small with too many hard surfaces

I'm still running with 03 Invisions. I think I'm on my third of fourth lens now. Proflexes have always been a staple in the paintball community, which is surprising judging how quickly designs change around here.

Out of what you listed, I would go with the Profiler or Grillz. They offer a noticeable difference in peripheral vision and are easy to work with.

none of them. JT proflex gets my vote

edit: Fits right, light on my face, good protection, I replace lenses when they are scratched, don't fog, & chin bounces.

None of the Above, I prefer the Classic Vents Predator system.

Pros - Lighter then all previous systems, more coverage, vents hot air faster then any product I have ever used.

Cons - Parts hard to find, especially lens, less then 100* vision. Most nub refs have never seen it and make me use my JT's.

JT has always made damn good goggles. I would use them but i HATE changing the lenses on a pro-flex. Hate it.

For my money the profilers are where its at. Wide view, good coverage, good fit (i like the fact it sits more on your cheek bones than on the bridge of your nose) looks good. And the lenses are a snap to change.

If you can't deal with JT lenses, then don't ever buy Dye Invisions.

I hate JT goggles and masks. I've never found them comfortable at all. V-Force ftw.
