    Factor in:

Comfort fits very nicely, doesnt seem to weigh down
Size good coverage and the vision is good
Protection great protection, jaw line is a little high but unless you are really exposing your neck, your fine
Lens Replacement quick and easy, better than profilers, about as fast and theres no question if it is fully secured or not
    Price reasonable price

    Vote and inform.

basicaly its a nice mask, light, sits very differantly from a profiler or a shield (my 2 previous masks). on vforce you cna se the top insie of the mask on ventz you see the bottom inside.

one of the top things i like is that you can get thermal lenses with a good vision range

For me... Flex-8's or my parts built Pro-Stiff :)

I personally hate the gummy masks that the kids love these days..

If I wanted to take a hit in the face at modern ROFs I would play with no mask.

FYI the Pro-Stiff is just a modern pro-flex lense frame with a older style spectra hard face plate and hard ears cut to the size of the ones on a flex 8... Soft doesnt belong on a mask

I finally tossed my classic Vents, the strap rotted off the the frame, I was very sad.

The poll was lacking JT's, my favorite has alway been my original JT Spectras. I won them in a tournament in '94. They still work. I can still get replacement lenses for them in any color.
I bought a backup pair and a fan system for them 2 years ago.

Can the same longevity be claimed for 80% of the masks now on the market?

Picked up a pair earlier in the season, this is by far the most comfotrable thing to ever be put on my head. Nice and light with great field of vision, gets some bounces, looks, good, great product.

Avatars or E-Vents, for easy lens system, small profile, HUGE vision range. Price is going down on them, so it's the best bang for the buck, in my opinion.

Sheridan Skull Mask (Also sold under Gameface & Diablo)

I love this old mask! Soft comfy fit, light weight. I've had a few scary bounces off the forehead, chin, and cheek. Thermals are a must though, and are very hard to find but pretty easy to change. Picked up two spare thermals last year and haven't fogged yet; but mostly played in pleasant, dry, Colorado weather. I fit a JT visor on there no problem, and mat add a fan just for good measure. My glasses fit, but the arm joints lightly touch the lense. I haven't tried the others listed except the vents in the store. Personally, I think the Vents Cylus Thermal rocks for the cash! Light, comfy fit, solid protection, and I'm guessing no fog with the thermals. For $35 locally I almost bought some, but my JT Elite with the hard mask and thermal lense for $16 bucks from A.V. last year are still barely used and kick ***.

BTW-JT Whipper Snappers Rule if you don't mind risking brutal welts on your jaw. I don't even have thermals on mine and they haven't fogged on me... Awesome air flow.

The best mask is the one that you find most comfortable. Period. Same thing with the best boots, pants, jersey, etc.

As for me? I'm using the E-vents right now, so I voted that.

I think they fit my head well, they're very lightweight, easy lens change and they're extremely low-profile. They're not without their faults (the lens itself will fog, even the thermals) but they're overall a good choice.

In the end it comes down to how your head is shaped and what feels comfortable on you.

Don't let anyone sell you a mask because it's the latest and greatest. Buy what fits you best.

in all honesty though all lenses will fog to some extent when out in extreme conditions... also just the shape of your face and the way you breathe will affect it some too
