I agree on the classic thing I wouldn't even consider mine as a classic but this month I will release an almost full smart mag straight back from austrailla and it is definantly a classic to be proud of so Great job everyone and it's back to the drawing board for me, Thanks AronMsmith1987

Wow a lot of drama on whats what. Like Jay said his is supposed to be for fun and for bragging rights, so keeping with the theme of these post and since were all adults here don't take is so bad when I say "I won, I won, I won the bb gun" There where a lot of great mags all of them I wouldn't mind owning. Since it's for fun I wouldn't peck at the way it looks or the rules of the contest unless asked to remember Jay dose this on his own time and out of love for mags. I build my mags the way I like to just as I assume you do. I actually set this pump to accept compressed air and 12 gram C02 with a classic valve, but the X-valve looks prettier in pictures. Just so no one else loose sleep over this here ya go :

Ask the majority of voters who thought it was more than enough to win clearly , I have no input in the finals and we had straight up classics right there with it.

Custom spin on a Classic sounds like a perfect description to me. It is an "oldskool" comp , a stock class pump mag is pretty oldskool design IMO.

Great to see how obsessed you are with the contest tho , have to get invloved in it somehow even tho you promised you were done with it.

You want me involved ? Make me a judge, this will insure everything is fair and impartial and I have my own criteria for judging. Also, I never promised anything. I thought myself and you were actually making some sort of headway until Beemer, the Magnificent, stepped in and deleted some of our rhetoric.

What I cant figure out, is this, AronMsmith actually labeled his a "custom" pump mag meaning he was going for the "custom" division set forth by your rules defined here:

Please state which division you want to be in (Open or Classic) in case it could go either way.

Explain to us how he ended up in the classic division again when he clearly stated "custom" division set forth by your rules in the original thread ? Oh, thats right, you put him in the classic division to justify FPT's Mag. I do like FPT's Mag and feel a blue X Valve would set it off the most, but hell even you bypassed that rule of your own:

Total package , as in , everything matching. Don't have a custom anno'd gun and then something silly like a mismatched feedneck clamp.

Sooo, how did he end up in the classic division again ? Where is the fun in a contest that is all based on customs vs classics, but yet the classics have to compete with customs in thier own category ? As stated by others in previous threads, a lot of us are on the same page when it comes to picking between the two classes you offered up as themes. All I ma asking is keep the 2 classes separate.

There both a custom gun competition , it's not an antique car show.

It's not custom and not custom , why can't you understand that. Custom oldskool what ever that means to who ever wants to enter and anything goes open class. It's quite a simple concept. . . for some.


Stop being a sore loser. You said you were done with the contest and didn;t want to have anything to do with it , be done , go away , stop spoiling the fun for the people who WANT to be involved. You think the contest sucks , fine it sucks , now go find something you do like to worry about.

I don't want to pour gas on what is quickly becoming a personallity clash between you two but perhaps "Old Skool" Classic Mag " could be better defined. I can see his point in that the marker that won had only one part that might meet his and some others defenition of classic. It won because it's a beutiful marker but is it a classic? I could be dead wrong but I don't remember any pump 68 classics pre 96.

1) I deleted ALL my posted related to the subject because that was neither the time or the place for the discussion. IF you had even a minimal amount of respect , you would have PM'd your concerns to me and NOT negatively impacted the entire thread and the feelings of the people who WANTED to be in the contest and worked hard to get there. But you obviously have NO respect for anyone or you would not have brought the issues you said you were done with there, here to this thread too.

I don't need to expain anything to you. You don't like the rules . . . go away. You don't like the contest . . . go away. You've never contributed anything to it and you've never had an impact to it till you started getting smoking in the vote.
