I could be dead wrong but I don't remember any pump 68 classics pre 96.

Alright fine , if you all really feel that way then I won't do Oldskool MOTM then , no biggie.

It was always a custom gun contest for for those prefer older styled markers and oldskool mentality. To me that means , non electros, single triggers , pumps ,12gs , stocks or whatever us oldskoolers associated with the 'good 'ole' days. Could be anything. Back then we made almost everything , anything not stock was completely custom. Miilled , scratch built parts whatever we could mod. Custom. No one pulled out a NIB Automag and got oohs and oohs. They didn't even have barrels and AIR setup on them stock.

How may votes would this get compared to any other entry ?

    Yeah , I thought so.

It was never a NIB antique museum show piece contest. I've stated , I thought clearly , that it was an extremely loosy structured contest open widely to interpretation.

To me this is oldskool custom . . .

    Not this . . .

    Am I wrong ?

NOOOOO. If it wasn't for the oldskool MOTM I would never be able to enter.

Edit: Beemer if you remove the pretty car picture that I had posted then my comment below just sounds wrong.

      I just creamed my shorts

Just some constructive criticism. Perhaps if you added this statement to the rules and description of the oldskool competition it would help clear some things up.

What is your view on pneumags? Custom or old skool?

          Ok here we go again.

First OFF this is the Props thread. Soooo PROPS to the winners.

until Beemer, the Magnificent, stepped in and deleted all of our rhetoric.
Magnificent, Aww gee thanks. Thats what everybody keeps telling me. What no smilies?

I removed THREE posts, one was yours and gave a warning to you or did you miss that.
One was RRs and one was CoolHand. I didnt see them whine about it. I would hardly call that ALL.

As everbody has already said this is just FOR FUN and AO gets the final vote.
FUN FUN FUN, just to be sure you didnt miss that part.

Just for your record and AOs heres the facts.

          I hate to remove posts.
I hate to remove or lock threads.
          I HATE to ban folks.

Just because I hate it doesnt mean I wont do it. Such is life.

Just so you and everybody else doesnt miss it this is your second warning.

If you still have issues use PM.

Dont care if you dont like it.
Dont care if you dont agree.

Again PROPS to the winners, well done.

I have excepted your opinions as your opinions (they are only that) and openly stated as such. I've will not continue argueing your point of view. It is only that , your point of view , there is nothing to argue.

I have mine , there is no right or wrong. Your the only one who can't accept two opinons or to points of view can exist . . . still. Get some meds if you need it , I don't know what else to tell you.

It's my contest set up to my point of view , I admit that , I clear stated that I stand by that. You entered the contested based in the right up front.

I have no idea what your still trying to argue ?

You don't like the MOTM contest as have been I running it and you don't want to be involved in it . . . understood.

Is that all or is there anything else you need to make you feel whole again ?

I'm working on clearing that up now.

IMO , pneumags w/ intelli frames would probably fall into open class. High ROF is not what Oldskool paintball was about.

I, for one am satisfied with the winners work. It doesnt matter what you call them. Classic or Open. Both of these markers, as well as all of the entries, are killer. Congrats on the win guys.

Shoot me a PM so we can get things started.
WOW, sigs. Havent seen these in a while here on AO.

I'm not trying to dump on you for what you do. I think your doing a thankless job and for the most part, your doing it well. You might have handled whats his names initial critisism a little more diplomaticly but who knows what else was going on at the time.

I am mearly suggesting that the Old School Classic or Old School Custom be better defined and that an old school valve be a minimum requirement. Thats me two cents cdn worth....
