AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Originally posted by Chupas2 I know but what's the cost to get in? But most of the people who are bashing the price live near Milwakee. That's a quit a hall for them to Badlands.
Badlandz field fee is $25. Includes CO2 & 4.5k psi air fills for the day. If you buy field paint, the prices are reasonable. They have 3 grades of paint, priced from $60 - 80/case I think.
A bit higher field fee than most places, but the BYOP part certainly saves you the difference and then some. Plus, if you're a tourney freak, Badlandz is where the Chicago Open is held.
sams if a good place to play if you just want to get out and play,
yeah badlandz has better fields for tourney style play but i dont feel like driving an hour and a half everytime i want to play then an hour and a half back.
if you have a membership at sams its not a bad deal, play for free whenever you want then all your payin for is paint
your destin to find a working tribal at sams on any given weekend, i cant figure it out but for some reason a bunch of the crew there all went out and bought them last year, oh well.
Paintball Talk is the main forum for Automags.org. Here is where we talk about the sport of paintball in general and make announcements relating to the forum and website.
where they want to know what Tom looks like, you should throw up the mardi gras pic just for good measure
It looks like this year I may play a little more and I might not. I'm waiting to see how busy its going to get. So far by the start of this season its looking like it might get pretty busy this summer. As far as my Tribal goes Timmy is looking at it for me and seeing what he can do with it. And my game. Well in all honesty its not where I'd like it to be. Remember that I am a full time employee at Sam's and it is hard for me to get out on the fields to play. So I haven't had as much time practicing as some. Let's just see what this season brings.
