    New logo opinions

I am redoing the logo for my paintball store and I want to get some opinions. So what do you think.

Also does anyone know how to resize this thing so it isn't so freaking big on the post.

Overall the design is good. The specific image looks a bit rough. Some sort of vector based drawing would look a lot cleaner (and be scalable).

I was going for the rough look, should I try to make it more intentional or would a smooth image look better.

I think smooth lines would be better. Perhaps rough would look good, but it would need to be more pronounced. The way it is just looks off to me.

Here's a logo I did for our rec team:

All smooth lines (vector based curves). I really should put that logo on something.

I'll try the smooth lines. Do you have any suggestions on a good program to do vector graphics?

I use Adobe Illustrator, but it's expensive.

I have heard a few good things about Open Canvas. Since I'm a Mac guy I can't really try it, but you may have luck: http://opencanvas.en.softonic.com/. If all you need is that one logo I could to the non text part for you.

What would you charge to do the non text logo? Please PM me.

No need for PM, no charge. That's a simple deal and a good excuse to play around in CS3.

That image is enough. I'm at work so I can't do much right now. I'll be able to whip something up tonight.
