And in conclusion, I swear on everything holy that if I had an SFL E-mag not only will I never post like that ever again, I shall make it my quest to eliminate every PBN kiddie I find running though the woods in his bright Ollie Lang Jersey shooting a $1200 marker that his folks bought him for his birthday.

of nothing
I apologize for my negative comment, but have to admit a bit of skeptcism to what you are hinting at. Are we to truly believe that you ( or someone ) is actually going to GIVE away a marker of that nature for an online allegory?
All I have to say is IF you are doing that you are a more giving man than I. But at this point, and until I am proven wrong, I say SHENS.Last edited by punkncat; 11-16-2007, 10:30 PM.

I WISH I could tell you how many markers I've had to sell to pay 'unexpected' bills. As far as I'm concerned, every bill is an unexpected bill.

I don't. Neither have I deserved a great many things. I've been blessed plenty this year, I'll pass.

if you ARE seriously considering what we've assumed (that of giving away an SFL)
then sell it, and donate it to charity, it would make much more use there.
but as for me, after a very successful recovery from a lung collapse, and my family and friends, i'd say i have no dividends i am owed

No not give away. I need the money desperately, but I sure as heck would like to see it go to someone that hasn't one already. People that may cherish it and use it. There is bound to be people here that are worthy. Let them tell there story and if I'm moved than they will have the opportunity to make an offer. I'm not even going to post pic's. People that I feel are deserving based on the essay will each get the photo's and will have the opportunity to bid based off them photos. The highest bidder may not be the winner. I reserve the right to weigh in the "Essay" if you will, also. Fair for me and as far as I can be everyone whom really wants one of these things. You've got a couple of weeks. Please no Pm's. In the mean time it has some issues I'll have to get fixed or no one will be able to enjoy it. Back to my work shop...
PS. I realize I can not double check peoples Little Essays. I'd only ask that they are from the heart and hope they're truthful.

on terms of simply fun because i don't have the money to buy such a rare piece of history i'll fill out this essay.
To be honest, I was the kid who wanted to play paintball so badly that he traded away a n64, with 7 games (some including banjo tooie, star wars pod racer, madden 2002, limited edition zelda majora's mask in box... this was in 2001) a full stearing wheel, a mini controller steering wheel, 3 other controllers and some memory cards and an expantion pack for one.... ONE BROKEN Tiger shark pump. The kids said they had the parts to fix it they just hadn't gotten around to it.
I then wanted to play so much more badly that I traded away the next worst decision in my life, a gameboy color (again 2001) with a case, 10 games including dragon warrior 5 (very new then) harvest moon and other greats for ONE broken Sting ray paintball gun.
In the end I had never obtained a working paintball gun for the amount I traded away until one day I got a blade pump for Easter. My mother was extreamly against this and I got in trouble for playing at my friends house in my mothers sweatshirt and she took it away (the blade). A month later my mother came down with cancer (not nessecarrily aiding the story but it ties in) After her recovery she allowed me to actually buy a worth marker to use.
I saved up all the money a 13 year old kid could and bought a spyder e-99. Over the years i've purchased and worked hard for all my gear and even though i've only had 2 other markers since then (A-5 and now a Tac-one) I've paid for all my play and really pride my self on that fact that I supported my self from 12 years old to 19 now all just to play paintball.
So thats my story. Deserving of a SFL mag, eh maybe, maybe not, but the amount I went through for such a great game is definatly worth something.
