    Xtreme Paintball = no more

just wondering if anyone else is going to get toasted on an outstanding order (paid through paypal) with them? first time having ordered from them, for me at least. guess it's a good thing that it wasn't a large purchase.

Xtreme Paintball/Anythingxtreme.com is closed and will be filing bankruptcy when the owner is able to leave the hospital and meet with his attorney.
Like all the paintball companies, we have been struggling for a few years to adjust to the drop in paintball sales. We have cut salaries, laid off employees, downsized the warehouse, hired consultants and done whatever else we could to survive.
We have had no employees to answer the phones or emails for a couple of weeks and were still trying to get funds released from our charge card processor. They had given us an agreement to sign on 2/5 to release the funds, but it is too late for us to continue.
We will be posting any necessary legal information later when we get it. For now, if you have an outstanding order, you can do a charge card dispute (chargeback) through your card company and they should refund the money to your account.

    Wow.... that's kinda crazy.

It's funny that people question whether AGD is still "alive." They haven't filed for bankruptcy, have they?

OH man... my wife bought me a VForce Profiler back in Dec. Still haven't gotten it, and she has contacted them several times about a refund. Said they'd get us our refund in 7-10 biz days... that was back at the beginning of Jan. She's since emailed them... no answer... we are going to the bank to deal with this. Was planning on taking the refund and picking it up locally for less than online... no refund = no goggles.

          -100 internets for those

I loved that site. I use to buy stuff from them all the time. The best prices around and great customer service...now they're now more. I was about to buy some CP gas through fore grips, I'm glad Papa Smurf sold me his.

wonder if they are going to be Ebaying thier inventory or what? seems like they would have had a crazy benzies everything must go sale before they up and filed to at least pay off a few creditors.

i e-mailed their billing department directly yesterday, letting them know i was filing a dispute with Paypal. i don't know if it was paypal's decision, or if X-Pb was making good on their word to resolve issues with customers... but this morning i look on paypal and lo 'n behold my money was refunded.

on the one hand, im happy because i didn't lose out on anything. on the other, i feel awful because yet another shop is gone.

I had a similar problem with these guys...ordered some stuff back earlier last year and waited several months for it to be in stock. Well I finally changed my order/substituted some of the things and asked for the rest in a refund. I think it was around $40 they owed me. Well I was told they mailed the check...never showed up tried contacting them but always got the run around. So I'm glad to see I'm not the only on that screwed over. If this is how they did things I'm glad to see them go!

Yea - I lost $60 on two back ordered feednecks. Paid with a gift card = SOL because you can't contest it like you can a credit card and obviously no one there is picking up or answering email...
