Logic UMF and V1 Alpha woes

So I am tring to make small/light setup for those days I dont feel like lugging aroud the xmag. I want an am/mm length rail, and would really like to use my umf (as it is collecting dust right now)

My question to anyone is have you found a foregrip to fit in front of the umf. I know about extenders (and have a few), but I would much rather go without one.

    My ideas thus far:

    - 15% RPG vert asa (failed) I knew it would tho. I thought about having it turned down, but then I will have trouble using my cp mini for the gas thru (I am not running air through it tho)

-dw cf foregrip (failed) it is the same diameter as a regular vert asa. I wanted to turn the top down, but am hesitant to because it is "ULE", and has holes drilled in it. (IE I can only turn it down ~ .2" before I hit a screw hole.

    - have the front of the logic umf slightly milled to allow the foregrip to fit further back. (not sure how that will turn out yet.

Anywho has anyone else done this successfully?

    Thanks

How about milling a channel (on the foregrip/asa) where the trigger guard would sit instead of reducing the size all the way around?

the area in front of the frame is .65"

        my asa is 1"

Now that I have actually measured I think it will be close to impossible

have a foregrip length of .60" aluminum lathed in whatever design you want, then tap the top for a bolt
then it would fit, and youd have a unique foregrip

drill an extra hole in your rail

if you have a dw cf grip with wings i think it'll work fine

It will still stick out past the front end of the rail.

I think if I use a wave rail I will still only have ~ .78" This is closer than .65, but still far from 1.0

thanks for the idea wat, but I am not a huge fan of that foregrip.

well you can't have everything lol
yeah it won't look perfect but it'll work
it would look a little better milling a little off the front top edge of the umf on a 15* angle maybe

Luke does some awesome work, for the right price he might do a 1 off modificaton of the triggerguard on the UMF for ya
