Should Store owner stock a Tac 1

My local store owner was contemplateing geting in a tac 1. I have been pestering him to go through with it but he keeps saying that he is afrade it wont sell. I need some good arguments from you guys to use on him.

    My ideas.

It is a top of the line woodsball gun ( the people are mainly interested in wb where i live)

He can always sell it on this forum for colse to retail.

The noobs wont know about agd, but the people who are into the spec ops will.

    ect

any other arguments that it will sell?

If this helps at all I live in midland mi

what we do is put our own guns private guns on the wall for show. then if some one wants it, we let them know that we will have it in about a week

Tell him to hire me, I can sell it, I am finishing my sales-councils / commercial representative class in 2-3 days. I provide the best service in my jobs department and I had 100% in a mystery buyer test.

That mag won't stay there too long.

Should a store owner stock a mag, in a word no, in two heck no. Mags are great markers, but from a store owner stand point they sit and sit and sit and sit and sit. To stock a marker it needs a good turn around time. Mags are a very bad investment for most stores. If Mags are popular in your area then it may be better, but here where I am stocking a mag is a terrible choice.

I hate to say it, but I am tempted to agree. It really depends on your area, I guess, but unless someone knows what a mag is, they're not going to take a Tac-One (which is a $500 woodsball gun) over a Tippmann (to them, it's the same thing for $300 less). People just don't know the difference. Even if the store owner tries to educate them, it's going to sound like a sales pitch.

Mags in a store just won't move fast enough until they come out of obscurity again.

I'd suggest stocking Classics over Tacs. Cheaper, uses C02, and still the same quality. Mags are getting back into the limelight very slowly, but Tacs would probably be to much.

this I agree with , BUT if you want him to stock a Mag just get him on the field & let him shoot one , the guys that play with me go nuts when they shoot mine ( any of them ) they can't believe how accurate they are

anything will sell if he pushes it, the seller needs to know the pros and cons of the equipment as well as the type of person its best suited for, its not for those that want the electro , its the alternative to those taht want the decked out a-5 or mil sim marker with out all the bulky materials

they need to know how to show off the lvlX as well ast the low maintenance design and dispell mag myths the potential buyer/s may have heard of

I was a Proshop owner for 7 years, and this is simply not true not even alittle. Never ever ever ever buy something that "will sell if you push it" it'll be on your wall for a very long time and the time WILL come when you need the money for something that will actually do you some good.

A store owner that doesn't know much about automags isn't much of a store owner - is he??

i guess i should rephrase that, say you have an ion and a mag on the wall, chances are the ion is gonna get pushed(suggested) before the mag is event mentioned.

i suppose that depends on the storeowner but ive seen this to be the case in atleast 5 other stores, someone walks in ask about entry level stuff and they get the, here is the spyder, espyder, ion etc etc, while the similary priced mag sits quietly on the side .

with that having been said, proshops dont sell alot of equipment and the way things are going the money is probly better spent on other products, but i would suggest he lets customers know such things are available to order upon request.
