Problem with that one is that it is missing the trigger guard, something that usually cuts the price down dramatically.Originally posted by robertsr1811
I agree with Pixel.Comment

I agree with Pixel.
I agree, a cut off trigger guard destroys resale value.Comment

So let's say the cut guard dropped the overall price by 25% You're still not anywhere close to $200.00, let alone $300.00. I track Micro sales on a daily basis, and have for the last several years. I suspect that you would be very lucky to get $200.00 for a Gen 3 with no matched barrel, no matched drop, no matched gas-though and with a classic valve.
Good luck on the sale though, whatever initial asking price you start with.Last edited by robertsr1811; 07-24-2008, 01:17 PM.Comment

I'm gonna defer to robertsr with regard to that Micromag. Guy knows his Micros better than I do, that's for sure.Comment

Unfortunately, what its worth is what someone will pay, and robertsr nailed it.
$200 with classic valve.
$180 for xvalve
$20 for the quick change
Package deal - $350-375Comment

Originally posted by thahouseFunny thing, is that i have the exact same micromag, WITH the matching stock barrel (same anno job as the above)...the only thing is that it has a cut off trigger guard.
So what you need to do is buy this one, swap out your cut frame, and sell all the parts you don't need. :)
...Not that I've ever done that to get a full set of matched accessories on a Micro...twice...Comment

i would love to do that, but unfortunately i cannot afford to buy that micromag. Hence why im planning on selling off ALL my mags, except for my e-mag.Comment

I agree with robertsr1811. The missing parts kill the resale. It however has the GFX valve so that helps out a little. I would say $180-$200 if the right person comes along. $150 would be an easy sale. The X-valve is worth as stated $180-200 and the 12 gram changer probably $15. I had a gen 2 that was one of the rare "superman" splashes but it had just a plain classic valve and no matching parts other than the body so it really was not worth much at all. I moved on to my complete matching PTP Unibody Micro. Has all matching parts and original valve, original bolt and original powertube annoed spacers (the red, blue, gold and purple ones). Oh yes! Free up for a nice Micro though. It looks good.Comment
