    New Tac-one

Just thought I'd post up the new Gat! This gun is the bomb and I want to take a moment to thank all the Automag guy's that helped me out with advice! I installed the ULE kit and I think I have the shim's right; every now and then I have to shut off the asa and re-open the valve because it just stops shooting when I'm shooting fast. Also I can not open the asa because it always shoot's once when I air it up. Then I can dump paint in. It has a couple of eccentricities but it's very accurate and for a gun with no batteries it's fast. Now if I could just get it to RT with out going to 1000 PSI. I was wondering if setting it up with I think you guys call it a pnemo trigger? Is it worth it? Thanks in advance you guys have been great! And if you ever need help with a BT I'm your guy at BT Warrior under Dorian Feyd.

    Wrong section

About the shot on air-up, that'S normal.

About the pneumag mod, i suggest checking arround and reading a little on that subject. It does take some skill, knowledge and time to build one.

About more RT, try putting a few more shims in the ULT.

Yo man, dat thang is off da hook! Dats da maddest gat I be seeing

First off, nice marker... I couldn't get into the Y grips myself but I do like how they look.

Second, not trying to be a jerk but please leave that kind of talk over on pbnation. Try marker instead of "Gat" for starters, then work on it from there.
Due to the objections of a certain Canadian, this space is now for rent.

AirAssault: he said gat and bomb....so what? Other than that he was completely cool with his post...not like he went off AGG and LEET style lol

anyway "every now and then I have to shut off the asa and re-open the valve because it just stops shooting when I'm shooting fast" add another lvl 10 or ULT shim to your power tube(bolt slides over). This will make the LVL 10 vent a tiny bit better and should solve your bolt stick issue.(lvl 10 shims are effectively 2 ULT shims BTW)

Like it was said already, the shot when airing up is normal...you can hold the trigger in, or just aim in a safe direction.

like michbich said about pneus, just take a little stroll around AO checking them out and you will learn a lot....including who can help you out if your not into doing it yourself.

BTW pneu is shortening of pneumatic.....the mod changes the trigger from a mechanically activated sear(you pulling on the trigger) to the trigger pull activating a 3 way that lets air push on a ram which moves the sear. Its an easy way to use a low force trigger pull to operate a high force operation(sear movment).

Have fun, nice marker, and hope you stay around AO....it really is a great place to discuss paintball.

oh and I would have put this in PB Talk, but its all good, who says you cant discuss a paintball marker in a friendly corner?

Thanks for the replys. Sorry if it was in the wrong section. Feel free to move it where it should be. Can't help how I talk or write when I'm in a good mood though! I promise I'll never call anything Agg! As far as the Y grip goes I have a damaged hand and it just feels perfect to me. I tried a Z grip and was hooked. So the one shot thing is normal thanks for the intel on that. With the shims on the ULT I put them in untill in leaked then removed them one at a time untill in felt right and didn't leak. Thanks again: Feyd..........

Hilltop wants you to put another shim or two in the power tube on the Valve body, not the ULT. It will help with your bolt resetting.

Welcome aboard, you can't beat the help you will get here. You'll soon learn that Automags.org is more of a family than just a place to talk about a paintball markers. Every now and then there is some drama but for the most part everyone is very respectful of each other.

Whats a family without some drama?

Welcome aboard and very sweet marker.

And in regards to your RT question. If you don't want to raise your input pressure you may want to keep an eye on this thread http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=236434

It looks to be another option.

changing the shims in the bolt is about the same as the ULT....just pay attention to how it comes apart and you will know how it goes together. If you lose track, we can help you out

sorry if my post came off confusing, I tend to try to explain how stuff works at the same time as explaining what to do. Heres a pic to help you with adjusting the bolt shims:

#5 are the shims....add another one(or a ULT shim for adding .5 of one) and you should be golden and not have to worry about degassing mid-game anymore. The shims are inserted last....right before the power tube tip is screwed on.

OK got home and put in the shim. It leaked down the barrel. Took it apart made sure all was good, reassembled it. It still leaked. Took it out and no leak. I have read about this so I was not surprised. I'll keep working on it. Thanks Feyd.....

Watching that Vid I did every thing right. So it just must be where it needs to be as far as the shim's go. One other question, Does any one know of another 15 degree fore grip holder. Rouge has one but it's 42.00$ plus shipping. The regular one is 15.00$ The 42.00 is just a little to much for me. Any help would be great. Or if you have a used one and want to sell it let me know. Thanks: Feyd..........
