it was originally a factory made marker that had "e-tac" written on the sides... it had a dust black finish instead of a factory gloss black finish (like most emag frames) and is no longer available, but thats not to say they dont exist and arent being made on their own

like mine... i put mine together out of some great parts and make a custom look

if ur using it primary as a longbow with the mags (20 round clips) i would get a 13 3000 tank , 4 mags(clips), and an a.i.r. valve. then sell the x with lvl 10 for 180 or with a lvl 7 bolt if you like the lvl 10... then replace the valve with a stock air valve no need for full auto when you only have 20 rounds and are playing a sniper ambush roll i use 100 rounds and my 13 3000 and have fun the whole game with no wieght to carry u can runn a lot further and faster plus u get a chunk of cash back from the x its what i have done with 4 longbows look at my putfile www.putfile.com/sumthinwicked and u will see no x on my lb guns theres 2 shown at least maybe 4 dunno i havent looked in a while in my toys section just my thoughts and ideas gl hope u enjoy the lb if not talk to me i always like more of them

your tank most likely will not work, i had an HP myth with my mag and it was a terrible combination. I do not know why... it just never worked...

          inline maxflo ftw

OK, so what is a good replacement tank? I love my tank but apparently it won't work. I love this tank too...

you can get a high pressure spring from GA to make it go to 800 or 850. There like 10 bucks, plus GA is not that far from you. Here is the site

wow I guess I will chime in then...

The tach one is fundamentally the same as a ule rt pro, the x vlavle functions the same as an rt valve because it is an rt valve made from aluminum, or anything othere mag with an rt pro valve. The Rt effect is from the design of the on/off pin and the way the valve flows its air around that pin.

Ideally you want over 800 psi input so the myth may cause problems and the higher psi you go the faster the gun will get... also mags are efficient but because they need such a high input pressure they dont get as many shots out of a tank as most of the other markers out today.

Other than that lube it with oil and if you have any problems post up in the tech form.

The tid bit about the accuracy being better with lvl 10 is bogus, paint to barrel match and consistency is what makes accuracy.

Will I be able to control this "RT effect"? Say I just eant to shoot one ball, is that easy to do?

                            Yeah, 1 shot is easy.

Squeeze all the way for one shot, squeeze lightly for "sweetspot".

How the "RT effect" works is that the trigger may pull with 2lbs of force, but it may return with 4lbs of force.

So, if you squeeze with anywhere between 2.1 and 3.9lbs of force then it will "bounce" and you'll get a sweetspot.
If you squeeze with 4lbs and up, then the trigger cannot be forced to reset and only 1 shot will fire off.

Also, you can just let go after you pull the trigger and just let the trigger reset to its resting position.

Its not like the trigger will run-away on you, it is very controlable.

OK, so you actually do have to try to get the RT effect. That's good.

you have to basicly increase input pressure or fiddle with stock configuration to get the RT affect, however sometimes it can come about when you arent expecting it, but usualy a spring change or slight velocity adjustment can fix that.

looks like your getting plenty of help so il just add in

a very reliable gun, super consistent

however break in period can be frustrating and include leaks, recocking problems, stiff trigger etc.

best thing to do is run a couple tanks of air thru the marker if you can before using it ina game this will save you a ton of frustration as well as having as traight shot or quick on/off asa that you can use to reset the bolt if need be.

after 6-8 cases though itl be smooth as butter so dont let a few minor problems bother ya when its getting worked in, these things are made to last.

and keep in mind youl want to have a few spare rt bumpers around as they are a wear item that will need replacing, as well as the foamies most likely.

--and learn your level X setup, and how to adjust shims, and carriers if need be.
