AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.

Wasn't an easy decision as pretty much any of the choices would look great. In the end I went with gloss black. Due to the sheer number of aftermarket frames and other accessories for mags that come readily available in gloss black (i.e. RPG stuff only comes in GB). I think it belongs as a choice. When done right any part from any namufacturer has a better chance of matching than any other color.
The option of getting a raw body covers those who are going all out on their build and want that custom look. For the many who need to do it on a budget gloss black is the best option. Especially since XValves are very rare in a dust black finish and reannoing them is a roll of the dice. Gloss black always comes out clean. I may end up with a raw body and frame to have anno'd something out there, but then again I may decide to keep it simple.
gloss black is on the poll because the options so far are dust black or raw.
Tracy said that the ano would be "dust/satin black". I thought satin is gloss. (I looked up the word satin on dictionary.com and it said it is a "glossy" fabric) So does Tracy mean there will be two types of black ano, or did she misspeak? Please correct me if I'm wrong. If I am, and there will in fact be only one black available, then I vote for gloss black, heck, it's the easiest to match to most of the barrels, trigger frames and X-valves out there.

dust is a teh result of bead blasting, satin is what intelli frames where they just drop the raw bodies in, gloss is polished.
Its going to be hard for everyone to agree on just one, If its going to look like that phantom, i'll have to donate it to the scrap yard and i have a feeling they might reject me.....lol
i was the first to vote... i just want to share my opinions on this matter.
I think that the slime green and black would look good because those are 2 main colors on the ptp website.
I also went with gunmetal grey because you can never go wrong with that.
Then i also went with gloss black because its basic and sexy
But lastly i went with a wild ano because i wouldnt mind seeing something crazy on my marker... like an ano job with a mask of a banana riding a llama or il paca haha

i believe there will only be 1 type of black available. I think what she meant by satin was a slight shine to it kind of like the tac-1 bodies which are not a true dust but not a true gloss. Its somewhere kind of inbetween (unfortunately)
sorry for the confusion with "satin" back in the day flat black was called satin and over the last say 10 years everyone is calling it dust. (I am still used to saying satin) It would be beadblasted and black. I am considering the gloss black, but the polishing part would have to be extra and not included in the original price as that is sent out. We do our own beadblast at the shop.
