I bought a Q-loader package off him and its been over a week and theres been NO type of response at all. No email, no PM, nothing but a (SOLD to Samurai Predator) on the thread in the Misc. B/S/T thread. I paid his asking price in full via PAYPAL, he Pm'd me a few times that day and the next, and that was it.

If anyone who knows him, can you contact him or can I possibly get phone number or something. Ive a been waiting patiently for over a week now and nothing. Ive even tried Pm'ing him myself.

Id just like the items I purchased or my money back....

his last post was on 1-27-09 so something may have happened, i mean yeah he could have bailed on ya which i hope isnt the case still though last post was almost 10 days after he posted sold to you.

was it a paypal payment?? it would be a good time to dispute it they will email him maybe that will grab his attention and he will get on and contact you, crap happens all the time so who knows.

chaos seems to be an ok person, but he has a reputation of being a really really really crappy buyer/seller

I did end up getting the 360, but only after waiting for months and threatening him with contacting the local authorities. I gave him negative feedback on PBN, but of course the mods removed it. Maybe because he was a paying member? They didn't even ask me about the situation. Keep trying to get ahold of him, he is quite slow, but you will probably get what you bought. Worst case file a complaint with paypal.

His PBN name is- Adrenaline-Junkie. According to his profile he was online today.

Moral of the story don't deal with him again. We can't request to have people banned can we Beemer? If we can I recommend a permanent ban on Chaos-Theory. He has had issues here in the past and doesn't seem worth the trouble to the community.

he told me he wasnt getting email notifacxtions, taht they were beings ent to his junk box instead. (which i could see?) But he has made contact finally and is checking on the itema nd getting back with me.

What is there to dispute on PayPal? You got your item. It took a while, and I suppose the seller was tough to get in contact with, but PayPal is going to laugh at you for filing this dispute. I mean, they laugh at these issues anyway, but this one will get an extra.

I suppose it's almost plausible that his email notifications were getting dumped to junk, but he's been around and has been involved in a decent number of trades (enough that I remember another thread like this one). So, unless he just got a new email address or a new email client, that would likely not be the case. Sounds a lot like an attempt to get you off his back.

And, to Beemer: I understand this is the second rocky trade that Chaos Theory has been involved in, but in this case it was resolved (and I believe in the other one as well). I guess there was some aggravation, but is that really ban worthy? Really? Especially when all you're getting is the buyer's side of the story, which you know is designed to get him sympathy and to make it look like the worst thing ever so that other people don't trade with this guy. So what does this mean -- if I make a trade, and the item gets lost in the mail/I forget about it for a few days/there is a mix-up between the involved parties/whatever can go wrong that is wholly benign that I will end up banned as well? I don't know how many trades I've been involved in here, but I have yet to have an issue with a trade arising from a PB forum (or anywhere, for that matter... well, except for some angry email exchanges re: a craigslist posting but no trade ever took place). So, obviously you're the one with a banstick and I/we aren't, but this seems like one heck of a judgment call....
