I suppose it's almost plausible that his email notifications were getting dumped to junk, but he's been around and has been involved in a decent number of trades (enough that I remember another thread like this one). So, unless he just got a new email address or a new email client, that would likely not be the case. Sounds a lot like an attempt to get you off his back.
And, to Beemer: I understand this is the second rocky trade that Chaos Theory has been involved in, but in this case it was resolved (and I believe in the other one as well). I guess there was some aggravation, but is that really ban worthy? Really? Especially when all you're getting is the buyer's side of the story, which you know is designed to get him sympathy and to make it look like the worst thing ever so that other people don't trade with this guy. So what does this mean -- if I make a trade, and the item gets lost in the mail/I forget about it for a few days/there is a mix-up between the involved parties/whatever can go wrong that is wholly benign that I will end up banned as well? I don't know how many trades I've been involved in here, but I have yet to have an issue with a trade arising from a PB forum (or anywhere, for that matter... well, except for some angry email exchanges re: a craigslist posting but no trade ever took place). So, obviously you're the one with a banstick and I/we aren't, but this seems like one heck of a judgment call....
