    Profilers

Been using VForce Profilers for years.
No problems with fogging even in the central Florida heat and humidity.
I can actually take them off one handed without the mask dragging my glasses off.
One of the best for those that have to wear specs all the time if they want to see.
Never felt the need for a fan.
I always felt fans were just another gadget that needs batteries and werent really
    worth the hassle.

Everyone LOVES the profiler, was going to get one myself after wearing it. But the lenses are only coated with anitfog, and are not TRUE thermal lenses. I never had any problems but some folks say they have had the coating wear off.

The new DYE i4's are GREAT but they are VERY small, true thermal lenses with the most field of view... but they are crazy expensive. That's what i just ordered.

I love my profilers. I did wear through the anti-fog on one lens, but it's no big deal you just get a new lens. It was about time from wear anyways. The lenses aren't too bad. The coating they use works way better than the true thermal lenses on the JTs. I had JTs for literally years (Spectra, Flex 7) and would never go back to that lens removal process.

I actually like the coated lens better than a lot of the dual-pane systems. JTs in particular seemed to have a problem where the thermal pane would start to pit, which was a little distracting. The only thing I have noticed with the VForce lenses is that, for some reason, the coating sometimes doesn't work right away. I know it sounds strange, but it seems like when I would wear them for the first time, after having them in storage, the lens would get pretty badly fogged, and need to be wiped down. But, after wiping them down, they would work fine for the rest of the day. I don't know if it has to do with the coating becoming too dry and hardening from storage, or what.
