Since weight is not an issue....
Put a small electric motor on it with a gearbox attached where the crank handle is. Set the button up in the middle, and lower your hopper back down. One hand in the center of the marker could hit the button and go to town. If you stole the components from a cheap variable drill you could change your ROF.......
