Well, SP owns the patent, and there are a couple other markers. I guess mags are unique in that if you use macroline, you're going to need (in most cases) at least 7+ inches of it. Also, having the inline regulator as part of the valve eliminates the need of many markers to have a secondary regulator in addition to the one on the tank.
