AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
It seems they really like to keep that trigger pivot above the trigger, instead of in the back of the trigger like on a DM or Intimidator. I wonder if the board will talk to you in a British voice
For 1k I'm not terribly impressed. If it still shoots like a 50$ impulse then the extra zero's don't really help it along. Not that I don't like impulses, I just like money in my wallet more.

Exactly, I couldn't care less how many cool features and knick nacks are on the gun if the trigger feels like crap. I don't understand how they are still behind every other high end marker with their trigger mounting. Even the Luxe has the pivot point behind the trigger. It's a huge oversight to make on a $1000 gun.
BOTH regulators are in the gripframe. You adjust the HPR and LPR through the back of the frame
The foregrip is simply just a giant volumizer.
The "lpr" looking thing under the barrel is a guide for the vavle stem.
The marker fires using a pressure balanced poppit system that gives you 1700-1800 shots per fill.
The eye covers are magnetic like the luxe, but with hinges on them so they can not be lost.
NO HOSES AT ALL on the outside or inside of this marker.
Rechargeable lithium polymer battery powering the Impulse through approximately 100,000 shots per charge
The rest of what they are advertising just seems like hype, but, this marker really does offer some cool features.
I am interested to see how their balanced poppit works out, I remember people having a lot of issues with that design in the gen 4 timmys.
Both regs in the frame will be interesting, want to see how that works out.
All in all, i would love to be a SP sponsored team next season. Having the option between this or a luxe sounds like a win win to me.
Balanced poppets in general are pretty cool technology. Funny how all the hate spews and no one addresses the substantive issues of design and performance. True it is SP and they deserve little, but a tip of the hat where it's due.
so is the asa required since there are no tubes and the regs are in the frame? i personally really dislike having the tank in that position:/
tho 1700+ shots per tank sounds nice

Like 68magOwner said, it will be interesting to see how the design works out. To me it says (at least) three moving seals instead of one. Considering the difficulty of sizing a single level 10 o-ring, the $1k may be paying for all of the extra hand fitting required to make the marker work. Given SPs marks for precision lately, I suspect there is some re-work involved. Either that, or you're paying for the "good factory" in china. I guess I mean to say that there is no such thing as a (working) cheap balanced poppet.
That would also mean they need some dedicated teching. Maybe not hard, but it would require understanding beyond their average customer. If they can sell enough, we may indeed be seeing the same "model year" depreciation the other markers have had.
