Warwitch, it looks great, and i'm also curious as to how that's all routed, i think i have an idea but i'm not entirely sure.

Here is a shot I took while mocking up the internals:

This is not my original idea!!! Teknix pioneered it and Oily has done a real nice one too. Im not one to take other peoples credit. Though I think I have raised the bar.

Here is a teknix's "how to" threads on UMS: T68 Box Magazine

Thanks for the pic, that's definitely going to help me build mine. The main problem I can foresee is that I won't be able to make it look all that clean; Warwitch has certainly done a fine job on his setup.

Now what I want to see is some youtube vids of that thing ripping! lol I promise I will build my own very soon and quit bugging you.

No worries man. And the easiest way to make a clean box is to start with something already empty. Check teknix's "tupperware mag".

Just now I aired up my viking and excalibur and fired both of them in turn while holding my magna drive loader next to them (the spot where it will be when I mod it and mount it to the gun). It would not activate. When I put it on the feedneck and fired, it would. I tried to enter programming mode to turn up the microphone's sensitivity but could not figure it out. Did you have to relocate the microphone closer to the breech? Or does the hose transfer enough sound to the mic to activate the loader?

I also figured an RF chip would work, but I don't know if my boards are compatible.

Magna boards are compatible with Reloader B's. Thats what I plan on puting in mine so I can run RF.

I always had issues with my AKA's being too quiet for sound activated hoppers.

I would use my Halo but I don't think it would work to have it as a bottom mounted hopper. The sensor would see the paintballs and stop turning the drive cone, and would not force them up the feed tube, I'm guessing.

You could do it, just have to relocate the eyes, and be very exact.

After researching different hopper designs a little more I would suggest starting with a Pulse. The removable tray contains all the goodies you need. There is no downspout to cut. This would have saved me infinite amounts of work. I will be basing my next box mag on this modular piece.

Press and hold the power button until it goes from green to red to white then release it. The LED should turn red again. The green LED flashes the motor speed ( 1 slowest, 6 fastest, ) the oragen LED is the mic sensitivity ( 1 for louder markers, 6 for quieter ones, ) the red LED is the spring tension monitoring ( 1 off, 2 on. ) After the flashing the green LED will light up for a few seconds. If you want to change the motor speed, press and hold the power buttton at this time until the LED changes red and you can enter a new value. Press the button the number of times you want the setting changed to. After a few seconds the light will flash green showing the new setting. Repeat this process for the mic sensitivity. Magna manual is loacted here.

Sweet work, it looks like it was designed to be that way all along!

Added some Aimpoint T-1 sweetness to the mix. Normally I would denounce any use of any sight in paintball. But the rig is so short and the foregurad blocks my view of the barrel. Works really good at the ranges I engage people from.

Thanks Jaron, I will try to become more technologically adept. lol On the plus side, when I connected eight inches of warp hose from the magnadrive to the feedneck of either gun and fired, it did activate. I am thinking that as long as the sound can travel through the hose it will work. That or I will move the mic closer to the breech.

Ive noticed my board is more sensitive since its not actually inside a hopper anymore. Though it doesnt like being shot in the empty garage with the door down as much as outside. Echo issues maybe? Cant wait for that Magna board and RF to get here.

My Prophecy is similar. I can hold it right next to, but not touching, my E-Mag and it won't spin when I fire. A lot of sound and vibration gets transferred through the feedneck.
