    Are you freaking kidding me..

So I'm browsing the Dye site today, just seeing what's new since I haven't really looked at it in ~3 years and I come across this.

All I can say is.... a freaking paintball SOCK? Who buys this stuff?

The amazing thing is that I saw it because they have an almost full page ad for it when the site loads. Yes, for a sock.

They used to have some button up t-shirts I wanted a few years back.
If I recall correctly they were listed as pit shirts.

          so "sock" you say...
don't they sell them as a pair?
or do you have to buy 2?
          specify right or left?

Knowing Dye, they are probably sold individually

You're complaining that DYE is selling athletic socks relabeled as paintball socks? Who cares?

Not really complaining about anything.. just commenting that I find it amusing that someone would spend $10 on a sock because it's a 'paintball sock', even more so that it was worthy of a full page ad

Depending on the materials in the sock, that may not be a terrible price for a pair of socks. I dunno if you've ever bought a pair of modern athletic or "performace" socks, but that's how much they cost. This is not some generic pair of cotton socks.

Have a look at these, for example:

Multi-material, zone-patterned socks tend to run about that price. I'd consider trying them out.

I don't think you can return them after "trying them out"

Interesting they call it "paintball" sock instead of an athletic sock. But yes, I've seen good socks sold for upward of $20, particularly the really nice hiking or boot socks. I usually like Dye gear, and I'd get a pair if I could find them local.

I must say, UA socks are the best socks I've ever owned. Albeit, I avoid paying that much - grab them at Marshall's. Hold up well too.
