AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
It's a work in progress, but this will be my first one !!
Nice I dont see an elbow even with the vert feed which would be the only time you really need it. Put a warp body on it and coat that ring on the batt plug so you dont scratch the pretty anno.
If I still had a PF/R body I would rock the warp hardcore. My revy is even still pocketed(didn't want to drill holes in her). My old one was just so kickarse. Minimag, Y frame and warp. Just so tite, then I added my 92/45 on a bottom line to make the compactness pointless. I played a bit of airball with her with no problems. I had somebody tell me I was deadly out the right side. I never did get used to going left with it though.
I still rock my Warped Classic with a cut-down left standard feed SS body. An X-Valve is on the way, with a WL ULE body to follow hopefully soon, and someday I will get E-Mag or Pneumag lowers.
Well, having run a warp for 5 years I feel I've had enough experience to know the pros and cons :)
I play solely woodsball and I don't find that, if I get taken out, it's due to hopper hits. What I really liked about the warp was being able to sight well down the body, being able to rotate the gun and the intellifeed.
What I liked yesterday when I was forced not to run it was the loss of weight, not worrying about failure (which has happened to me a couple of times on the field) and not having to spend 30 minutes trying to clean behind my warp when I get hit in it (which seemed to happen to me all too often...)
After I repair it, I'll probably throw it back on but I didn't find running vert as bad as I thought I would yesterday.
