Some people are just ignorant. Instead of researching for them selves whats the best, they take a dealers advice and stick with that. Plus Mags(besides Rt & Emag) look very plain out of the box, where as Spyders/Angels/ect.....Look SHINEY out of the box.

Bling Bling, Performance & Quality aint our Thing!!!

I wouldn't worry about it so much Tom.

In the past four years that I've been playing I've never once heard anyone even hint at the possibility of AGD goind belly up. All three paintball stores near my house have a slew of your products on their walls and your stuff is almost always first displayed on several of the really big web retail sites I visit.

As for the shop owners comment on why someone would want to buy an AGD marker when they are going our of business I can see where that miht be of concern to someone who owns a Spyder or a Talon but an AGD product almost never needs any maintenance. These things are tanks.

Diffrence here is that AGD actually makes something worthwhile

And i'd like to see where Apple would be without schools buying them

Uh, dude. You do realize that mostly all graphics done today are done on macs, right? That includes video editing and the like as well.

Apple has a huge marketshare and should in no way be taken lightly.

Go Tom, GO!!! You tell them who boss . Can you say "Who's your daddy" LOL.

To quote Remember the Titans (this is not an exact quote):

Coach: "Tell me who is your daddy?"
                Player: "..."
Coach: "Well, who is you daddy?"
                Player: "... Um?"
                Coach: "Who?"
                Player: "you..."

Meanwhile the kid parents are standing in the background. LOL .

                edit:
This is in reference to TK's first post in the thread .

JP, welcome. AGD is by far the best marker company there is period. As Tom stated, stores just want you to upgrade, upgrade and upgrade some more.

Mags are Plug and Play...no fuss no muss.
Enjoy your mag and the quality time you will spend on the field with it!!!

Mags rule and AGD will always be here I know of few stores that trash AGD one of them belong's to a team that is sponsored by WGP...And they've actually tried to get me to switch my Mag for an autococker everytime I've gone in there ,but I just brush them off ...

P.S. Don't mess with macs either there the best for Music,Editing and Video & Film productions it's because of G4's that you have some great entertainment out there...

Between me and my captain, half our team wants to sell their guns and buy mags.

i love the idea about putting out a cool promo booklet to send store/field owners about current and future technology, design, and innovations, and remind everyone about the history of airgun designs and how a lot of this stuff got started in the first place. Remind people that Airgun is a major player and has been here and will continue to be here for some time to come. People have a bad impression of mags i think because they are not as flashy looking as an angel or dark cocker. they've never shot one. let's put together a booklet that will blow them all away and wipe out doubt that AGD is THE best company in the industry in more ways than one.

i volunteer to add my services in any way i can. i work for one of the biggest marketing companies in chicago (upshot marketing). our clients are VERY large (disney, ford, microsoft, coca-cola, discover, etc.) i work in the interactive division doing mostly interactive cd-roms/presentations, video editing and effects animation as well as 3d design and animation (god, i feel like i'm at a pitch, hehe). i don't have a ton of free time on my hands, but i am willing to help. Why? because AGD has been good to me and i think people should know the truth about mags.....they ROCK! oh, btw, i did own a cocker at one dark point in my paintballing history.....i didn't keep it for more than 6 months, even after buying $600 in add ons to make it look pretty and supposedly function better! LOL! you're right, mr. kaye, about those pesky accessories. email me @ [email protected] if AGD or anyone else is interested in starting some sort of freelance graphic design group for AGD promotional materials.

i'd also have to agree with crazy about macs.....i know, i work in the industry, they really suck wads, unstable, unreliable, but then again, so are pre-windows 2000 pc's. me? i build my own, the best/cheapest way (but all this is for another forum, perhaps hardwarecentral, hardocp, or tom's). funny this came up on the ao forums. :)

HEY! Don't forget who sold you on moving from the 'dark side' (cockers) to the Mag side!

Um - actually that is not longer true. Was very true 10-8 years ago - but since win95 PCs have steadly gained ground in this area. Today you are just as likely to find a pc in a design/printing place than a mac. Maybe even more likely...

not that it really matters at this point - as they all run the same software and use the same file formats.
