    Shipping to Germany

Does anyone know if there are issues when shipping paintball items to Germany? I shipped a black ULE body to motodrom16 on 12/04/09 and it has yet to be delivered. I know they are trying to make paintball illegal which makes me wonder if customs may have seized it. Does anyone know if I can contact Germany's customs to see if the item was seized and if so find out what is going to be done with it?

I shipped some parts to Germany a few months ago (powerfeed plugs) to Motodrum16, actually. 2 weeks after I shipped he asked me where they were; apparently they couldn't and didn't make it through customs and are now apparently somewhere in a German postal warehouse or customs lock-up (pure speculation on my part). I just refunded his money and took the loss.

shipping out of the US is a crap shoot most of the time, stuff eventually gets there most of the time but sometimes its there in a couple of days other times its there a month or so afterwards. like in my case a dvd was shipped to me from "UP NORT!" and it took like 3 weeks for it to get here. turns out it was a burt copy anyway and the guy just sent me another one. i got bother copies like two days apart from each other

either way i wish you luck on this

Well moto has disputed the transaction in paypal and has 2 weeks to escalate it to a claim. If he does that I will have to refund the money. So if it will take several weeks/months to get there then there is a possibility I will have to reimburse him and then he will ge the item anyway? Is there anything I can do to avoid this?

not that im aware of you are pretty well at the mercy of paypal and the postal service, Moto being the guy he seems to be I think would repay you if the item came but i dont know that for sure either

Yeah I have the customs number. LJ 524 759 284 US

Only problem with that is it only shows that I notified the post office that I would be dropping the package off.

Did he ship it first class or something other than that? If the person sent it other than first class it takes forever to get here. I had a package that was sent through media mail and it took about six weeks to get here to Germany.

                  shipping to germany

hi my AOfriends. i think around 3-4 weeks for shipping is a long time. i've got small and big parts from all of you, look at my feedback, and i'm very fair at all times in paying and in infomations. i'm a honestly and fair brother and you can trust me.
i just have around 42 day after paying to make a conflict on paypal.
if i payed and you shiped, may paypal or USPS should refund the money, i think so.
hope my english is good for you?! i'm now waiting for a ULE body with feed for $115.-
may it will come in the next days, if not

Yes I've dealt with Moto numerous times. I've even picked up stuff for him from Ebay and such that won't do international shipping. He paid me, I got them, I shipped, and all was well. He made sure that I was covered and it cost me nothing but a bit of time.

He's a good guy to deal with and I know he is currently waiting on me to ship him the cheater he got... I have yet to get it from Zap though, so it's a bit hard to ship what one doesn't have.

Anyway, I don't know what the issue is with the PO and all, but I would make sure to NEVER label it PAINTBALL anything. I had to do this when I lived in Japan. Label it "Sports Equipment" or "Hard Goods" or something similar... I think even vehicle or truck or car parts would work well enough.

I usually go with "sporting goods". So anyway, I'm pretty sure if the parts show up to Moto that he'll kick the money back to you. It's only fair. As it stands it's hard to say who is out what amount. It's tough for a person to take the loss no matter which end.

Hopefully it will show up and all will be right in the world!!!

I shipped rudi (motodrom16) an xmag. I told him once it leaves my hands it's no longer my problem.

He was fine with it. I checked up to make sure he got it. But if he hadn't... That would have sucked for him.

I suggest ANYONE shipping out of the country to inform the buyer that once it leaves your hands you are no longer responsible. If they don't like that deal then sell it to someone else.

I am not questioning questioning whether Rudi is legit or not. I've had good communication with him and everything went smooth until this. I would not like it to go as far as me having to refund the money and have him then send me the money again when it shows up. It's just a hassle. As far as labeling it paintball, I asked Rudi what I needed to describe the item as thinking he would know the best way. He told me to just call it "used paintball parts" so that's what I did.

I talked to paypal and they said if a dispute is filed and they have no evidence of the buyer receiving the item then I have to reimburse them.

right its the responsibility of the seller to get the item to the buyer, i know that sucks but thats the way it works

I sent an Armageddon reg to Motodrom16 last year. After 2 or 3 weeks he started complaining to me that he never got it, and I basically told him I gave it to him for a good deal, I lost money in the shipping, and to SCREW OFF. He didn't like it, but I didn't give a rats a$$.

About a month after I shipped it he wrote back apologizing saying that he finally got it.

Never shipping outside of continental North America again.

So what's the problem here. He think you didn't ship it or?

It took 3 weeks for a E-LCD screen to get to me from Canada. Like Dend said, it's a crap shoot .

Did you pay the shipping online? If so you have proof in black and white you shipped it to him but the way paypal is, they need/want a conformation number. Hopefully the proof of shipping is enough.

Last thing. You shouldn't be held liable once it's left your hands. He should have paid the $3 or $5 for insurance on the item(s). He knows very well Germany is a POS when it comes to paintball (I know first hand) and all risk should fall on his shoulders if his gear gets confiscated by his country. He wanted the item, he payed for it and knows the risks involved. I would explain that to paypal when he disputes it.
