Automag: the original 'Battle Tested' marker ;)

I've seen weathering done on Tippmanns and other milsim markers before and the thought of doing it to my Mag crossed my mind many times.

So today I took the plunge and did it.

Let me know what you think!

I still think this has to be one of the sickest markers out there, let alone mags.

Almost looks as good as Nauzers handiwork.. lol. I like it, wouldn't have thought to do it on a mag, but I do like it. Kind of takes the pressure off of trying to keep the ano fresh. Might have to give it a go on mine as well.

That was one of my incentives - I've had this mag for over 3 years now and the ano gradually started having blemishes, dings and scratches.

          That's not an issue anymore!

now you just need to give it a white or clear acidwash/or splash to set it off even more.

I'm guessing a few passes with a sand-bow and high grit paper.

Looks better "weathered" than perfect. Makes the new pretty one look nicer but the old one feels better you know? Still a sweet mag buddy.

Excellent blend of classic sub-gun look, with modern function.
