2BAD4U: I always use a lubricant when honing or boring. It helps keep the hone clean. Ideally, you should have both grits, one to start and one to finish. Seeing as you are taking off a minimal amount, the 800 grit might be fine on its own and it will leave a nice smooth finish. Aluminum will clog it in a hurry so clean it often.

Super_Stanchy over at www.mcarterbrown.com will bore out your barrl to accept Smart Parts Freaks inserts

I highly recommend his work, he is located in Camas, WA and has his own Airsmithing Section

You can't go wrong, for $ 35 you can use all of the Freak inserts - hav the Total Freak Kit with 8 bores and the Reball insert so its like having nine barrels
