Modern electro with warp feed body?

Is there a modern electro (eyes, lightweight) that can be easily modified to have a "warp left body"? Something lightweight like the Mini, but with a side input instead of having to have the hose go up and into the vertical feed. Maybe have things wired so that the warp advances whenever the eyes don't see a paintball in the breech (new feature for the new Warp boards being thought about?)

Don't get me wrong, I love my two warped E-Mags with L10, but something lightweight for scenarios would be nice. I have a remote-air, warp setup that nearly balances the gun perfectly side-to-side, but being an E-Mag it is still a beast. I won't even talk about my standard on-gun air warped E-Mag!

My VER framed MM2k9 which is warp left or right capable weighs in at 2.38lbs(38.10oz). The Mini that I have weighs in at 1.87lbs (29.85oz). Only an 8.25 oz difference.....

For that matter, my E-Mag weighs 2.98lbs which is only 1lb heavier than the Mini. I don't think the issue is the weight of the marker as much as it is the weight of the warp setup.

Best thing to do would be to find a lighter aftermarket electro frame for the Mag and use it with a warp body. I think there was a V.E.R. frame for sale in the BST's.

My RT-valved E-Mag with MM2K9 body weighs in at a hefty 3.5 lbs without a barrel, so that is 1.6 more than my Mini. I guess I should compare it to my warp-left ULE E-Mag with X-Valve, which should be about the same as your E-Mag I assume. So 1 lb difference, it would still be nice to have, just to mix things up.

A different E frame would be an interesting idea... cut about 0.5 lbs off the E-Mag maybe?

Just threw this together for a mock-up:

1.89lbs with a barrel making it lighter than a Mini. Of course with this exact setup, you are looking at nearly 5-6 times what you could pick a Mini up for....

Very nice sir! Is that a mech frame or are there E internals?

Its a VER frame. I grabbed it from my MM2K9 setup and put it on my "ultralight" setup.

IIRC P8nt may have had a couple of extras.

That's exactly how I would build a light mag, questioning the frame though.

Yeah but in 10 years it will still kick ass and be worth nearly what you paid for it.. while most minis end up in the scrap pile.

I think that depands a lot on how things go with AGD. Honestly, I can forsee a point where people lose interest without new products coming out. We are already seeing massive price drops on E/X Mags and other parts. In general, yes Mags definitely hold their value batter, but wondering for how long.

How so? T?he frame is what makes it electro. And as mentioned, I simply threw this together as an example of the possibility of an electro Mag that was warp capable and still light.

I am just saying I think there might be a lighter electro frame out there or questioning if there is one. Its looks good though I understand you through it together also.

I also think AGD we be around for a longer time, you cant put to sleep a legendary that has so many ways to modify it as people have done. Its been quite a while and AGD is still here.

Its like saying a 1967 camaro is gonna lose its status, this will never happen people will always continue to keep it classic or bring up to par one way or the other.

Not a clue. I would imagine an Ego frame may be lighter, but by the time you add the extra weight of the LPR, would it still be lighter? Even then, 1.89 with a barrel is pretty friggin light. Whats sad is after putting this together, I really like it and might have to contact P8nt to see if he still has thet gloss red frame he was showing at one time....
