Well this is turning out to be a tough anno to emulate!

Ton6ixer, PK Selective and FX have all gotten back to me with the same answer... no.

I am still waiting to hear back from 2slow4me & Arnolds Metal finishing. Fingers crossed!

Oh wow really? I wonder what makes so difficult (for experienced anno designers)?

2slow4me is affiliated with Ton6ixer, if I am not mistaken.

          Squid , yeah its mine
I had a small scale ano shop going around '08-'09 ? give or take
          thanks for the kudo's btw

and also ,i just had a thought .(food for thought)
Maybe mention to them that the pic your giving them (SFL) is to show the "BASIC" pattern ,not for them to duplicate exactly .The reason i say this is they may be getting"scared to "match" it exactly . I know if for me ,if a quote was asked to do something exact,...i would be nervous to do a great match job ,...you know what i mean?

yea for sure... there is a lot of random looking splash in the way the red went on... i certainly wouldnt expect an exact match.

Ton6ixer got back to me, he said the base anno wouldnt be a problem but the part thats left him scratching his head is the red. He said that it should have gotten turned a brown color. Any thoughts on how whoever did this anno got around that?

Arnold from Arnolds Metal finishing is who did all of PK selective paintball ano work and they are who I used. Also talk to Arnold as his minions dont know crap*and want you off the phone.

He is really talented. I have a few modest anno pcs en route back to me from him... but some of the other things I have seen are really amazing....

that was I am little shock to hear he cant replicate this pattern to some extent.... I am no expert so... he is looking at it differently than I....

He said he could duplicate the background but that he would expect the red to turn brown. He is going to expirament a bit and let me know what he comes up with.

Try whitewolf airsmithing. I thought they were the guys that did the infection sfl emag. Not sure if they are still anodizing or not. Ive used pk selective for a handful of markers and thought they were great. Here is a picture of my favorite one so far.

I strongly advise AGINST anything get sent to White Wolf Airsmithing. Do some searches on MCB and PBN on him.

I second Anotech. Have had 5 guns anodized by them. Make shure to call and talk to Kelly. They are slow on email responses.

I am going to guess that Arnold's will be a no as well. I spoke with them at great length and have been to their shop. They do not offer any type of acid wash, at least when I was there a year ago. I was told by them that they have tried and tried but cannot consistantly produce good acid wash so they don't offer it as a service.

They are lightening fast but a little pricey. I dropped my orange pumpmag off at their shop on a Monday and picked it up that Friday.

I have used ATMF as well and they are good and pricing is great but they are a little slow.

For many years now these two companies have been doing work for the baintball community and are among the few that are still around with a good rep and produce great work. Anodizers come and go but these two have lasted. My experience with Arnolds was the same as loguzzzzzz. Lots of parts with a never done pattern and it was done in something like two weeks. One part did not come out and they re did it and sent it to me at no charge. The valve went right together with no tuning needed. I forgot to remove the washer and C clip from the body and they noticed it and plugged it. They may be expensive but worth it as your parts are done very fast and look great.

I know these were basic ano jobs but...

I just got 7 parts back from Ton today. 2 gloss clear and 5 dust black. Took about ~2 weeks from when he said he received all the parts (3 sets were sent from 3 different locations: HI, NY and TX), to when he was going to work on them and getting it back in my possession.

                                Not bad I would think...
