... no problem to get access to a lathe ... but I have no Xtreme; and with the "normal" Mag barrels, there would be too much wear (I think), when the o-ring scratches every shoot over the opening for the ball ...

I posted this these forums and evceryone thought I was an idiot to even think it up. I got some emails saying it was a waste of time. I have some basic tools and machinery to do this mod to my stainless bolt. But this bothers me how everyone now thinks this is a great idea, and just like 3 months ago was condemned for this idea.
I guess there is a difference when an SFL owner speaks, and a Micro speaks. LOL j/k. Im glad it turned out ok. I like probably many others would probably have it done to a stainless bolt vs delrin. Cutting the groove and removing material would definitely make it more birttle IMO.
