To further clarify, it's basically a single drop-in alternative to doing a pneu-mag conversion. You still need a low pressure regulator to provide the low pressure air, but you don't have to mess with the MSV and other little parts. Instead you get one brass box that goes inside the grip, with one airline, that makes your 'mag rip.
It works really well with Luke's mini vert grip (as a true drop-in mod). Other grips (intelli, M86, etc.) require some milling to make it drop-in.
Luke's also makes a foregrip that has an internal regulator that feeds low pressure air directly into the rail, so you get what used to be called a "sleeper" set up without having to hide a small LPR in the grip as well.
Check out http://dev.automags.org/forums/showt...40#post2885740 for some examples of how it's used (the OLTR itself is the little brass box inside the grip in the first picture).

It lightens and shortens the trigger pull which allows you to walk the trigger.Leave a comment:

Thanks for the video.
I'm not expert at walking a trigger but it helps me if I concentrate the top of my fingers tapping against the trigger guard instead of the trigger itself, that way you let the trigger reset properly.

Not that anyone has looked at this thread in a while, but here's another test video of the OLTR firing with an Xvalve and Luke's ultrablade trigger. I've been playing a lot with the pressure on the LPR-FG, and for a while I was having consistent two shot bursts because pressure was slightly too low. It was kinda fun, but now it's back to tuned just about right.

Luke's Ultra Blade trigger made all the difference (and trigger guard room) in the world. I had one of his other triggers in there before and couldn't walk to save my life. I'm still no expert, but it's a whole lot easier than it used to be with the new trigger.Leave a comment:

Test firing
Finally made a test firing video, in case anyone is still following this thread:

So I FINALLY made it out to play this weekend with my OLTR build. Everything BLachance75 said is true... the thing shoots so smoothly. I didn't bother with a video so as to not embarrass myself with how slow my fingers are, but the system itself is amazing. It's nothing to brag about, but this is the first time I've even come close to being able to fire more than a double tap with a respectable rate of fire. Awesome!Leave a comment:

Sorry no video, I broke my camera mount the night before and have to buy a new base for it.Leave a comment:

I finally go to use the gun at a field with the new trigger. I have the LPR set pretty conservatively, there is basically no RT effect, and it shot great. I could shoot a decent string when I had to, even with my slow fingers, and could also easily shoot single shots. I found that I could do a 3-5 shot burst very easy this way and I don't feel I need to really shoot more than that ususally.
For me the gun is set perfect. I'm sure others would want the LPR a little lower than I have it so it could shoot a faster but I'm happy with my gun. It has taken over 2 years to get here with this gun. Now all that is left is some anodizing and I'll call it finished.Leave a comment:
