No, clue on machine names. VMC could stand for "Virginia Military Catapult" or "virtual modified cup". I try to follow various machine threads, but i just don't know enough to follow much. I just onow that when things spin, keep fingers, hands and loose clothing away crom it. Would love to but haven't the time nor the deep interest in diving into them no offense intended. Which is why i said, "assuming", cause sometimes i get things wrong...Already stated I'm making these on a VMC.

Vertical milling centre
It's not easy doing the internal features on the mill,
The bores are far more easier to do on a lathe but there is some decent tooling available for the mill, a decent u-drill and boring head works wonders :)
You should pop iron sights on the top, looks like a colt body I started to knock up a while backComment

I've redesigned the harder to machine areas to make it doable on a mill.

Probably not, the areas that would get milled on this would have been removed already or at least slimmed down on the others. Even the ULE on this pack will be minimal, the hope would be to get it in the same range as the others.
