I would never have imagined that my printer, at default settings, could actually produce functioning autococker threads, but I was wrong. Still not the right material, but given the cost, it's practically a disposable part.

Lil' Stumpy didn't understand the complexities of the Tippmann detent, and he didn't feel the need to be beholden to anybody else's crappy detents anymore, so he got new detents.

Lil' Stumpy is pleased so far with the new detents.

Lil' Stumpy says there's space to put 7 of them in there to prevent doublefeeds, but I think that's a little excessive. I'm trying to bargain him down to 2.

Yeah, gotta find ways to squeeze in time. Being able to do meaningful CAD work on the tablet is a huge boost -- I modified detents and the adapter while waiting for lunch today. My printer is to the point where I can just come home and press "print" as long as I don't have to swap filament.


PEEK would be awesome, but that filament is stupid expensive at this time. Hell even the pellets are expensive.

Like one of these adapters would be ~$10 for plastic alone at current prices. (Compared to ~$0.25 at PLA prices.)




That said... uh... if you ever get to the point where you can print PEEK, even at current prices, I wouldn't mind having a one-off...
