AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Uhm... there are different Rip Clips? I'm thinking this might be a "newer" model. I only use it for testing or when the spring feed might be too exposed to elements.
Top rail is from an Empire Trracer. Good ol' fashioned epoxied that sucker right onto the steel body; couldn't find any other way to really attach it. Need someone to put weld nuts on the top of my body and all my crap will have a nice hard mountpoint.
Looks like the older model because the loader would just sit on top there (2 pieces). The newer model has everything in one package.
Huh... I just noticed that your lid is where the hopper would insert. I like what you're doing here with the barrel adapter and the mag clamp. Nice!

O snap ur rite. They don't let me out much so I didn't know there was a newer, newer model. There was an old-old rip clip, then the rip clip that I have, and now that one.
That sucks that you can't tac cap the newer model.
could print people pneumag triggers on the spot.
cant offer triggers for mechanical mags, they would break quickly
Uh actually... I've been running a 3d printed trigger in my mech mag for a few years now... granted it's the SLS nylon stuff. But it's holding up just fine.

Anyone use these, feedback on reliability, feed rates?
I have one on a TM7 with the RF chip (older version). I have enjoyed it over the years and have had no problems with feed issue with the RF chip. Without the RF chip I would think the sound activation would not be a problem with the mag. As far as specs of rate of fire, etc....I would refer to the manual for that. I do not recall of the top of my mind.
Love the idea of the rip clip on a mag, wish it would fit on the other side. Always kind of bothered me that tippmann and BT put their feeds on the right side of the marker when the majority of the human race is right handed. If you pop out the right side of a bunker(as most are inclined to do) the hopper will be out of the bunker before the barrel making you a target...
So I got my hands on some o' dat PETG filament to try out, and actually successfully printed an adapter on my Play with it. Yes, a successful print on a cold bed with just kapton and glue stick.
I'm actually pretty happy with the part; it's not as stiff as PLA, but not as fragile either, at nearly the same cost. And since this doesn't need to be that stiff, that winds up being a 'win'.
The problem is two of the words in "PETG" are "polyethylene" and "glycol".
Which uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh should sound familiar to some of you. Might need some research...
