Check it out.you can say its a MP5 rip off, but it would look sweet with a flatline.

I don't know if there's a difference but it says "Feeds 15 balls per sec." Well I also notice it saying if you pull the trigger 15 times in one second then it will feed 15 balls, I would say they are being tricky with words but not falsifying anything.Originally posted by HoppysMag
just noticed under the barrel it says 15 balls per second. Thats im possible. the gun would starve. it would drop off horribly. its probbily the same vaulve system as the M98.
at any rate, I give them prop for improving their marker designs. It's kinda kewl that it looks like a MP5, one the most reliable submachine guns in used by the arm forces.
I know there are people in the sport that thinks we should distance our marker from real guns, but I also know we all started playing paintball because a little part of ourselves still likes to play guns.

Read it again HoppysMag
All that blurb says it that the A-5 will feed a ball for every shot you fire doe to the fact that the feeder is hooked up to the air system.
"Pull the trigger 15 times and it will feed 15 times"
It does not in any way suggest that this is either an obtainable or recommendable rate of fire.
What's of interest to note (at elast to me) is that there is not one single thing about the new 1-5 on the Tippmann wedsite.Return to the free market. this gun is a joke....why would anyone buy a gun with a built in hopper...that way when the agitator goes bad...whoops time to buy a new gun....Also, this gun is on pbgear for preorder at $370...you have got to be kidding! I could buy a nice mag or cocker for that....--------------------------------------

Perhaps this would make a good rental gun for the field operators?

can we say..... remake of the tippmann F/A
the F/A used basicaly the same feed system and the saftey had 3 settings, safe/semi/full auto
and again it also had the built in hopper.... or should i say you could only use the hopper that the marker came with
but it is nice to see it make a comeback though....Virus, King of the Basement Trollz has spoken

I think the hopper/feed system looks interesting."Relax. Don't worry. Have a Home Brew."

I just like where it says "The entire gun can be field stripped in under 60 seconds without tools". Something AGD has done for how long now? and it's way way way under 60 seconds, probably more like 5."To serve to strive and not to yield"

I Like It!
I think it would look horrible with a flatline barrel... but with an RT or Elctro grip, it would be a very competitive marker in the right hands on the field.
heck, it might even make it into the tourney scene?
so what if it has an integrated hopper? what if it actually works? what would you say then?
Tippmann has a good reputation for a reason: Their products are Solid and function well. If this one does, then it is a good addition to the Tippmann line.
plus it would be a great scenario gun...

Of course the relase of the A5 presents me with yet another problem.
Now, after I finish my sniper M98 I have another marker to set up!
