Do you hit what youre aiming at?

My friend and i played today and he found out how good i am the hard way. We were playing just 1 on 1 woods play, yadda yadda yadda. well we go out on the first game.5 min into the game i finnaly find... rather he sees me and shoots... but i know where he is and im waiting for a shot. meanwhile he's unloading on me. then reloads, unloads again, and reloads again. i havent fired once yet. while he reloading i change bunkers/ hiding places (woods remember) well he pulls out and starts firing to where i was hiding and i pull out and fire twice and pull back... i get ready for balls to fly past me but they dont. instead i hear "I'm out". we play 2 more games which i win. the 2nd i got him out with 2 shots and the 3rd just to be cocky i loaded 1 ball into my chamber, twisted the power feed plug to hold it in, and removed my hopper and warp. Mean while he's carrying 400+ balls. i still get him out. so he gets mad that ive fired 5 balls and had 3 outs. so he grabs a empty gallon jug and throws it into the air asking me to hit it... 3 balls fired, 1 hit. i do this 10-15 more times before he's convinced that im better then he is. so i throw the jug for him... i must'a threw it 20 times and he hit it once.

so heres my question. how many shots do you take before you can hit your target?

I hit what I want prolly 1 out of 50. But it all depends on the situation. If I could set up targets, and steadily aim my gun, and fire at my leisure, I could probably hit 1 using just a few shots (with good paint match of course). But in a game, when snap shooting, I'd say after 50 balls I'll get an elimination (sometimes far more, sometimes far less) Luck can be your best friend Of course, distance is a huge part of all this, i feel accuracy decreases exponentially with distance.

In reply to the question: "Do you usually hit what you aim at" I say: "Only when I don't miss"

I'm a 20:1 kinda guy in a close quarters (think city or concept field) and 50:1 in the bushes.

              It depends...

If I have a semi, and I have a lot of paint with me that day, then I sometimes enjoy heavy firefights. But when I'm using my phantom, or if I only have a small amount of paint to use for the day, I'm definitely more careful about when I shoot.

heavy fire fights are fun, i admitt. but it takes pure skill to get 3 eliminations with 5 balls. i only know two people in my town who can beat me. my dealer and his little bro. they have matching shockers and have pumped more then 10,000$ into buying high end guns. jeff(dealer) himself owns a 4x4 shocker, Angel LCD, Black Magic cocker, Impulse, and a Bushy B2K2

With my older mag, the one w/ the 18" boomstick, I could hit almost anything I pointed it at with 1-2 shots. The barrel was as accurate as any other barrel, but in woods, it worked so well just to "point", ya know?

Really, we havn't played woods in a long time. Mostly its urban and thats in-your-face but suprisingly I find myslef shooting close to no paint. We usually walk all over the opposition anyway, but thats a different story at 202

                        It depends on the situation.
If I get the drop on someone, or they are out in the clear, then between one and three shots (unless they are running). However, if someone is bunkered, I may be able to hit them with one shot as they dart or peek out, or I may have to blast away and hope for the best. I suppose the speed of the game is the biggest factor. Generally, though, I am pretty good at getting the first shot pretty close to where I want it. I think this comes from playing a lot of pump games, or 50 round only games.

My most amazing shot, and most lucky, was when I hit, with one shot, an opponent at around 20 yards, when he pointed his hand out from behind a bunker. He was extremely frustrated, to say the least.

Also, one can't forget the no-shot elimination.

in a game i usually hit what i am at in 1 or 2 balls. If i take like 20 seconds to aim, first shot. I can hit a 2 inch wide spot first shot from about 75-100 feet. PVC pipe from across an airball feild

Stationary target - probably 2nd but for sure on the 3rd shot.

Moving targets that hide and shoot back - hmmmmm, I'll hit maybe 2-3 out of 1500 shots if I'm lucky.
