Maybe my paint/barrel match was absolutely terrible. But I don't get how you can get an elimination in 3 shots or so. I mean if you and an opponent are both behind bunkers and snap shooting, I don't think it's possible to consistently get eliminations with just a couple shots. THere are far too many factors to worry about. I'm not calling any of you guys a liar, but if you're this good, I think u deserve PRO ball....

"in a game i usually hit what i am at in 1 or 2 balls."
"I can hit a 2 inch wide spot first shot from about 75-100 feet"
"With my older mag, the one w/ the 18" boomstick, I could hit almost anything I pointed it at with 1-2 shots"
"Im pretty dam good at accuracy. So I am gonna say about 2-3."

Again, I'm not calling any of these people liars. I just find it very difficult to believe that one is able to consistently hit their target in under 3 shots, or just 1 as a few said. I personally feel Mav D MagMan and croix are the only ones being completely truthful. Just my $.02.

This is all during tournament speedball/airball. I have hit 3 people one game (and I was playing back) and I used around 500 rounds. I have hit 1 person in one game and I used 900 rounds. Hitting what your aiming at takes a whole lot more than just pointing and shooting. If they are far away it will take more, and you probably won't get the elimination because they will notice they are being shot at and will tuck in more. And sneaking up behind someone in the woods is a lot different than just hitting what your aiming at, thats like asking "do you miss when you bunker somebody".

You also have to factor in what kind of paintball these people play. This is woods, bunkers don't exist. There are trees, logs, shrubs, bush, everything. In woods, you don't come across intense firefights that often, most eliminations catch the other person by surprise and thats why only 2-3 shots are needed.

                To ScoobySnax:
As mentioned, it all depends on the type of game. The ONLY time I can get that sort of accuracy is when I am playing
                A) pump/limited round games
                B) recball/woods games
                C) against complete fools

In a really fast game, I can unload a hopper full on one target with no results. When one has to run and gun, and there is no time to sit and aim, accuracy by volume is often the only way. I don't think anyone is lying, it is just that they are describing firing under different situations than you might be used to.

                To jah871:
I live right in Cleveland, just a mile or two off of I-480. It is actually sort of a vestige of Cleveland that juts off amongst the suburbs. It isn't too far from what I think was the first painball shop in Cleveland, which actually started out as a typewriter shop (go figure).

Lately, I haven't been doing much playing. I used to play out at Pinnacle Woods every so often, or with guys from a local shop. Other than that, I would generally play on private property with a group of friends on the weekends.

Over the past four years, though, I haven't had much time or money between college, and working to pay for college. In addition, a lot of the people I used to play with have moved out of state for college, work, etc. Last year I think I played once.

Now that I am graduating, I should have a lot more time, so I want to get back into it. First I need to do a little upgrading. Particulary, I need to upgrade to HPA.

I am concerned about finding people in my area, though, because most of the fields are a ways off. I will have to see what I uncover. Hopefully I can find make a few connections. I always feel strange showing up somewhere and not knowing anyone. Maybe we could meet up sometime and I could try out your Z-grip...

BTW, have you ever played at SplatterPark in Mt. Gilead? When my one friend gets back from Nashville in July, a group of us are thinking of checking it out.

I'm usually pretty accurate now that I got a DYE barrel, and I average about 40-70 balls a game, depending on the situation, # of players, etc. But then there was that time I played without a gun and just sprinted for the flag. (I'm not kidding. I almost made it but I slowed down crossing a puddle so I wouldn't fall and got to the flag right as I got shot multiple times from close range)
                  My feedback

I get accuracy the tactical way - with a laser sight! It's great! I don't even have to be behind my gun to aim it! Kinda defeats the purpose of a Revvy, Warp, RT, etc.

A hopper plus, because of my POS PMI ceramic barrel, curves all over the place. Also the fact i am in Florida, heat and humidity, balls get swolen VVERRYy easily, so it throws off accuracy. Once i get my new barrel im hoping not to be so bad.

thats like asking "do you miss when you bunker somebody".
lol, thats happen before, and when they scared the crap outa me, i had my flash set for full auto 13bps, he wasnt a happy camper. most of the shots hit his hand and he had on no gloves, lol, stupid ppl with stupid cockers do stupid things that result in something that smarts, lots hits.

as for accuracy, i usually have hit a target once outa like 30 shots, but i'm usually making distant shots because i'm always the cover fire to move evryone else up.
