AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Well, the first pick looks like it is done for a magazine shot, or something of that sort, where a whole bunch of make-up and hairdressing people got hold of her first. Then they got people doing lighting & cameras and things. Pretty much everybody would look different after all that.
Well in the Maxim photo you have to understand that this photo was placed in a magazine which photos go through some work before they are published.
In the Maxim photo they put make up on her so the shadows from the lighting cast correctly. I know she appears to be out in the sun but she probably had a tent over her head to block the natural sulight so they could add their own lighting.
If there are any discrepancies the Maxim photo they airbrush them out so the photo will have a perfect run in the magazines.
In the second pic, it is a more natural pose, she has a tan, they probably didn't use lighting, you can see shadows, all in all I think it is a good pic! I think she looks better in this pose more natural.
The reason you probably didn't get a Maxim photo is there was probably a clause in the Maxim contract that stated she couldn't give those photos away, they are Maxim property.
Seriously, the Maxim picture has been soooo gone over, that it doesn't really look real. The face has no blemishes at all, there's not a mole, freckle, pore or shadow.
I agree with Frymaker. I think the second picture is far more attractive. She's smiling, looks like she has a personality, and isn't caked in makeup. Much more natural looking. Which is not to say the Maxim shoot was bad, she just appears as a bit of an Ice Queen. Either way, if I had gotten a pic I'd much rather like the 2nd of the two. Personal preferance though, any way you cut it she's a (physically) attractive woman.
Aww c`mon speedballbanks, there's no need to insult the lovely lady. She was kind enough to come to the WLIPP and to give autographed pics away. I think the second pic is nice but I like the first as well what can I say, I'm a man, I have a thing for skimpy outfits.
*edit* Your use of foul language forced me to remove the post. If you insist on circumventing the filters, or continue to use unacceptable language and/or behavior, I will ban you quick, fast, and in a hurry. Army

Yep, I'd probably pay for an autographed one of those. Actually, a personal lesson on shooting lanes and sweetspotting would be more useful, but, hey the probability of that is slim to none.
Amy is a beautiful, sexy, and talented woman. Anyone who has spend serious time with a woman will understand the difference between "made up, dressed up, and ready to go out" versus "hanging in your PB jersey and bandanna" let alone photography issues.
Its really cool that Amy looks great either way, and plays a good game to boot! I like both shots, they show two sides of a beautiful woman. What more could you want?

Agreed.
As to what more could I want....well....
Actually at this point I'd settle for a woman who has the same basic moral viewpoint, a good personality and decently cute.
