Perhpas then it is psychosomatic. Maybe a lighter trigger pull means less snapiness, translating into what seems to be a heavier pull due to the fact that less static friction has to be overcome, and force is applied more evenly, whereas previously the trigger would snap a bit.
I would like to see real data on the resulting forces to see how much things do change in a fully assembled setup. I also am curious as to the frictional forces of an older, worn in bolt in comparison to a newer one. I have noticed quite a bit of difference upon visual inspection.

I did notice an increase in resistance on my standard valve.. HOWEVER...the smoothness of the trigger release allows for an almost r/t feel. I noticed immediately that the trigger returned with more force than before... I didn't really notice the inscrease in resistance until I read this post. Its not a BIG increase..yer talking like another .5 lbs to pull trigger..big deal. I can get wicked fast rof now..the return definatly helps.

I really had to jack up my velocity nut, nearly to the point of venting, so I notice it a bit. But, I may have lost only less than 1 BPS, so I don't mind. Also, years of playing have given me enough endurance. But, it is a curious feature in light of the fact that it should be lighter, from a mathematical standpoint.

Even though it is a little bit old, I'll put my two cents in. When I installed LX, I had to turn my velocity up to venting while using the smallest spring. I have an Air America Rex, so the AGD tech turned it up at Twin Towers. My mag rocks. I have a friend with an A-5, and one with a cocker. The thing I hear most is, "Can I have your old squeegee? You never use it anymore."

I had quite a discussion with AGD on this. The actuall sear's release force is minimal. the face of the sear is along the axis of the sear pin so without altering the edge of the bolt or the sear radically you won't see any real benifit. As soon as you do alter it signifigantly you will run into issues of the gun fireing as you degass the gun. As the gun degasses it often sucks the on/off pin back into the gun. With that sear, isntead of the gun not fireing it will dump the ball and the air int he chamber out the barrel. AKA, a bad thing.
