wow we're screwed. Not only do the other teams have a massive open area behind them, the ability to get to that open space can be nulified by them taking the fort in the pass to get there. I think someone is compensating for experience.

Hmm...after looking at that JJ map, it looks like we can take three flag stations out of the box and not even have to fight for them.

but the trick will be to guard those and watch our back sides.
Anyone hear how they will do insertions?

well the flag to the right of our de splat zone is the city called Bedlam, I bet its in the big town hall. Should be easier to defend with all the buildings for cover. to the flag station to the left of the federation starting point isnt very far from us so we may be able to take it as well but its in the burned out city so it may be hard to hold

Open areas will be great for the freak

Thats ok that they are in open areas. I am kind of skitish about taking the tank into close quarter spaces. You never know when a player will pop up with a law and zap the tank. But seeing that they have the open area this will be great. With a good squad supporting the tank that can spot and take out anti tank players. It will be like driving into a fish bowl for me and opening fire. I dont have to duck I dont have to run I just grease anything that is not borg in a 360 degree arch of fire. I just need good support from the ground pounders shooting the anti tanks players and letting me know where they are at. As for shooting other tanks just leave that to me if they roll in on us. With the set up I have in the turret it will be hard to miss. if I do I can reload very fast when under pressure. Once the anti tank players are cleared out of an area, whats left will be like swiss cheese. And keep looking for the nerf howler footballs/ rockets. The small 2 inch dia ones. I can use a couple more donated to the tank and cannon. See that multi ball rounds are limited to 10 I am not even bothering loading up shells for the tank and cannon. We'll just use the nerf howlers.

                  A walk with a Borg

A federation player was walking down the street one day when he came apon a borg. The Borg was jumping up and down on a man hole yelling "42 -42-42-42". AS the fedaration player walked up he said "Hey borg, what are doing. " the borg said "having alot of fun!" Well the federation player thought that it must be fun if a Borg is doing it . So he asked to try it. The Borg said " i dont think you can jump high enough to do this" The Federation player said "Just watch me" He then pushed the Borg off and starting jumping up and down up and down. the Borg said "you have to jump higher to compete with me". So the Federation player was now jumping with all his might, and right at the peak of his jump the Borg pulled the Man hole cover off and Down the Federation player went. The Borg then slid the cover back on the hole and started jumping up and down saying "43 - 43- 43 -43". Mean while the Federation player
finally got his senses back togehter and looked up and saw this big Klingon stareing him right in the eyes. The startled federation player quickly asked " WHO ARE YOU!" the Klingon said "41"
and so it is written as it will be done

Boy would it suck if the Federation and the Klingons work out a peace treaty during this game.

As long as we keep a good perimeter around our base we can defend ourselves. Maybe we should use the tanks as base security to give that extra menacing apperance.

Everyone here should remember that elimintations don't win this game, so let's not worry about attacking the opposition's base or finding their hiding places behind the bases. We want to complete as many missions as we can over the 8-10 hour period we have. That is how we whoop federation and klingon ***!

but taking out the enemy camp should rack up some comander kill points. If we run out of missions we can just wipe out their bases.

                            Anti-Tank Problems

Due to technical difficulties, my potato gun is a no-go for an anti-tank gun at Shatnerball. I just can't get the damn thing to shoot well at low pressures, not to mention I am in need of parts to repair one of the regs I was planning on using.

I was trying to get the stupid thing to work, but so far I have had no luck.

I know someone who is going has that LAW rocket, and NERF football ammo. I'm going to find that person and send them a PM to make sure they bring that so the AO platoon still has anti-tank capabilities.

Only if we have a demo with us. And if the commander isn't there it is not worth as much.

We should focus on missions first and foremost. After a mission has been completed you can spray a command center on the way back. :)

I was talking to Fred (2 of 2) yesterday and he was telling me about how much scenario junk Wayne Dollack owns. Anyone have any idea of what he's bringing. Fred said the last Dollack game he played Wayne had a whole truck load of stuff he was handing out.
