Hi Shiny nope, i'm not mistaken on the high pressure coolant.
I used to work for a CNC machine tool distributer.
In fact I was the service manager before i left.
We had installed several high pressure coolant systems on both
    milling machines and lathes.
You would be amazed at the improvement in cutting speed
and finish you could get with high pressure coolant.
Needless to say these systems are not used on open or
    manual machines.
    some links for the curious

Tom since i'm in know-it-all mode wouldn't an insert like
the E-ZLOK www.ezlok.com be more appropriate than a helicoil

Finally reasonable people do not expect hi performance
things to be as durable as regular things, your street car
compared to a race car for example

I am glad that AGD is still making stuff for those of us who want our gear to last, and high quality, light weight gear, for those of us who want it. Give the people what they want and keep on making the hard core gear for the consumer base who expect it.

So that explains why the back half of the ReTro Valve is aluminum, but the front is stainless... so you get some of the benefits of a lighter material, but the area where the field-strip screw is won't wear. Interesting.... You learn something new every day!

Are you serious? What does out of tolerance do to something? I imagine it screws with the workings of the gun.
Also if the superbolt isn't going to last then I am not going to buy it. You guys make stuff that I can play with forever. So what if it is heavy, I will be stronger for it.

              I know why!

              Hey Tom and HS,
There is a VERY simple answer to why AGD made the valves all stainless. Just look on your AutoMag Box. The answer is right there:

              "Because Quality Always Shoots Straight"

Tom knows what he's doing, that is VERY obvious. I am not going to be the moron who engages him in a debate concerning anything about paintball. I will be wrong, anyone would be wrong. Tom could tell us that the Cocker has a longer range than any other gun available, and he'd be right (just an example). Tom knows paintball, period. More importantly however, Tom knows how to run an honest business. He gives his customers what they want, but he makes sure that it is a quality product before putting his name on it.

Kudos to you, Tom. Not only on the fine company you have run so well, but on your honesty in doing so. Just read my sig.
