magman dont get me started on the cocker thing.

Magman i swear to god, jesus, every single presidents grave, that i use to swear by the accuracy thing ok.

I use to believe everything you believed until i shot a cocker. Dont get me wrong this has nothing to do with WGP sponsorship. I can give a crap what they think of what i think about there guns (even though i like them)

But man they shoot alot different. I just shoot cockers, know how to install parts, and time the gun. I dont know all the loops and holes about it. Im going to get my friend matt over here later and he can type up the real reason why a cocker does have that little accuracy atvantage. And dont get me wrong i so so so follow the paint to bore match, FPS, consistency, kick, and all the other aspects that make a gun accurate etc. But my friend just explains why and so much into detail that you cant even argue about it when he finishes cause hes right.

Just wait a half hour k?

and the LX was yet again from personal experience the guy joe who had the mag was the person who told me about his trouble. The emagnum board is 200 now or something but i remember it being 300 or 400 so dollars and i was like damn thats expensive...

ahhh how so obvious would i know this would become a flame fest on mags.org considering half of it was true... i bet you half of you skimmed through it and looked just at the bad parts of what i said. None of the good... and also are going to swear by the accuracy thing. Let me add that i also think a angel isnt as accurate as a cocker even with all the right things.

I did one of those tests before...

same tank same output.. same fps... freak kit, same paint, same bore size. And yes the cocker did win ... not by a long shot... dont get me wrong it wasnt a huge difference but the fact of the matter is that there was a difference.

you have obviously not owned a impulse....

I was reading in PB2X that MSRP = 625-1000, and the only difference is milling and annoing. That should tell you something. Also, the emag is vert feed OR warp, and the Impulse won't make a great warped gun. Plus, I will NEVER trust an SP gun. I would take a used emag over an Impulse in a second. No thoughts will enter my mind. The emag can be run if the electronics go kaput with the flip of a switch. The Impulse? No offense to impy owners, but I'd be happy if it ran PERIOD. Sure, the Impulse my bro, Snakebite78 owned, was older, but his emag is 1071, and it's fine. The emag came out, and works great. The Impy came out, and the older ones STUNK.

            Emag. Quality From Day One.
uh.....well......do you know anything about the Nasty imp?!?!? sorry i'm not trying to flame you but PLEASE try and look at what the nasty has on it...it includes:
            -Delrin Voodoo Bolt -
            -SP Gel Grips -
            -TapeWorm -
            -Titanium Bolt Pin -
-Your choice: Magnetic Trigger or Blade Trigger -
-Freak Barrel (Aluminum Back, Matching Tip, One Insert (your choice of size)

All of this came from www.paintballwholesalers.com the comapny that offers the Nasty Imp....please do your homework before you diss a product...maybe your brother had trouble with his imp....did he take care of it right? if he had problems did he try to get them fixed or just whine about it till he bought a emag?

seriously. i have owned my impulse for about 5 months and have had absolutely NO problems with it whatsoever! and i know many other people that own imps and love them to death...the earlier imps had a few solenoid problems but the newer versions have been changed to correct the solenoid problems.....$625 includes everything i included above, but if you wanted to spend 1000 you could get all of the above AND:
            Vision
            Nitrogen tank
Two color fade or vertical reg.

and as for your comment about how they dont make good warp guns....werm makes a warp feed neck for the impulse that you could simply screw in, attatch your warp and rock with.... www.imperialpaintball.com

plus i think the nasty has some great milling, but if it doesnt suit your tastes he could always try the rat impulse from www.e-paintballoutlet.com which is my personal favorite impulse because not only do you have tons of options to get, you also get a lifetime warrante....i know i know you get that with a mag, but the rat doesnt have stars...it never runs out....

also the LPR will eliminate chops by allowing you to bounce the bolt off of a ball, but it will also creat horrible gas efficiency....the LPR mod for the imp was made as a solenoid optimizer, efficiency increaser (if you have it set right), and it also makes the marker much more quiet.....if you are looking for something to eliminate chopping you should get the vision system...i've never needed it for my imp and i can outshoot my 12v easily

TRIAD please do a little research before you flame a product that it APPEARS that you dont know much about (aside from your brother owning one)

            My Impulse works great PERIOD

(this post was not intended to flame anyone or any product..i was just defending the impulse, i don't intend to offend anyone)

Thanks Arkfear, for those unrelated posts. I asked about the E-Mag. Your arguement had no background - except for a poor install of LX. I'm not new to mags. I have LX, I love it, and yes, it was simple to set up.

Thank you all so much for your responses.

And Arkfear, if you want to 'dance' with triad - feel free to do so in another thread.

Oh please Arkfear don't even get me started. How dumb do you think I am? I open up a thread to ask a very specific question. Do not assume I have not done my research. Though your post may have helped someone else, it wasn't relevent to my post at all.

DO NOT ACCUSE ME OF SKIMMING RELEVENT MATERIAL.

                  I posted this thread.

                  I intend to get answers.

In order to get other's opinions, I have to read through EVERY POST. This is MY thread; my research; my needs; and my $650.

I think cockers are great guns, however, I stated that I was interested in electronic triggers.

If you think that you can't help anyone on AO, that may be true. It could be you who isn't reading posts.

I am offended that accuse me of ignoring, skimming, or disregarding your post.

I am also offended. I am offended that you, a new member to our family, come here and put us down. Where do you get off? AO is one of the largest, and yet, most diverse communities on the internet.

FYI i owned a cocker before, it was nice, but im a mag guy, you are an insult to mag guys. You dont know your facts. Tell us how the cocker is more accurate, but open a new thread about it, show the world, not the few in this thread.

Also, FYI no marker is more accuarate. Its physics, unless you are WAS and truely believe you can defy physics, then ok, we will just laugh and taunt you some more.

We dont want you to leve AO, JUST shape up. You started off on a bad note, change to a good one.

ALSO FYI my cocker was not more accurate than my e-mag, or the rt pro before it, or the classic, or the spyder for that matter

                        let's all be nice now...

                        I have a better solution:

If you don't want to spend tons of money then you can get a paintball blow-gun!! They are long... camoflaged... impractical... and almost completely inaffective!!! But if you want to impress people with your awesome blowing skillz, get a blowgun!

I have no clue why i just wrote all that $ }{ I '][' but at least it may get u fools off the damn cockers vs mags vs angels topic which is really annoying! IF YOU CAN"T DECIDE GO GET A BLOWGUN!

magman007 - actually i probably shot a mag before you were born. I know alot about mags, the only crap im not use to is the new stuff. And dont be like you obviously know nothing about mags and were never a mag owner cause then you wouldnt of said the cocker thing with accuracy. Well your wrong bud, cause, my first gun was a mag. I had it for a long while. How am i offending mag people in any way or putting down mag people, im just saying what i have expierienced, whats better hype on the internet or actually shooting/using an object? Ok i never said anything bad about the mags, most the stuff i had said were good about mags, and the rest of the stuff had to do with personal preference. As you for instance you said your a mag person well, im not a mag person, but i do like the mags and have nothing against them. As well as you might with a cocker, or an angel etc.

And i am going to make a separate thread debating why cockers seem to be more accurate. Just dont i mess up Reo5th's thread. And i dont know why you guys come off all upitty and yelling and such. I friggin said nothing negative towards you personally or towards the mag. Calm down, take a chill pill. How do you think the people feel when threads on automags.org come up... "OMG TODAY I SHOT A GUY WITH AN ANGEL!!!!!!" ( ).

And btw im not new, i actually was one of the first ao'ers trust me and had like 2,000 posts or so. But then i started working full time and lost time to post on the internet, and i cleared my cookies and forgot my name and password. So im new to the new stuff in the mag world and i would like to be edjucated. But you should hear me out as well... not just turn away and flame like you have been doing already.

I have both an RT Pro and Red Vert cocker and both shoot the same just less kick on the cocker. If this means anything to you I am afraid to lend out my mag this Sunday because I am afraid my cocker will break. =) I have already timed it and everyone makes it out harder then it is. But I am still worried something will go wrong with one of the hoses, or parts. My mag had a problem and I slipped in a new o-ring.
